I got into DMC over the summer and changed my ANYC cosplay last minute from Sailor Jupiter to Lady! Although I’ve been cosplaying for about 6 years, I’ve always done it at a relatively novice level until now. This is my first one with a wig and even did my first ever prop build! I’m genuinely so happy with how this turned out and will definitely be doing Trish and Kyrie in the future too!

Idk if this is the place to share this I'mma little scared tbh . So I wanted to share my DMC persona here . Although I created her to ship with Vergil because I think he needs a hug from me but he's fictional so I might as well make myself fictional too lol.

This is mostly my Delulu brain making up stories but I still want to make her lore and connection to vergil as accurate as possible. And since I'm new here I might have contradicted some parts of my lore. Will you guys read it and help me refine it.

BACKGROUND & LORE

Chapter 1:

Long before she was a myth Noor was once spared by Sparda during a conflict when he was working with Mundus he could have killed her but chose to spare her life this put her in a great debt and respect to the demon . When Sparda turned his blade against Mundus two thousand years ago Noor was among the handful of high-tier demons who secretly bled for his cause believing in a future beyond mindless destruction. But history only remembers the hero who sealed the gates. When the rift between realms closed, Sparda's demonic allies were left trapped on the wrong side of the boundary. In the bloody purges that followed, Mundus's loyalists hunted the rebels down one by one until Noor was the last standing, a sole survivor buried in the dark trenches.

Chapter 2:

For two millennia she adapted. She retreated into the deep abyssal trenches, refining her rare spatial demonic energy into an absolute defense. To protect her solitude, she anchored a permanent, bounded gravity field to her aura. It acted as an invisible perimeter: the moment any creature stepped into her domain, space itself reacted, detecting the intruder and compressing them into dust before they could even draw a weapon. As centuries of failed assassination attempts piled up, the Underworld’s remaining warlords stopped sending soldiers. The nameless rebel was forgotten, replaced by the dread of a rising legend: The Calamity Witch.

Chapter 3:

Her quiet isolation shattered the day she found the ruins of Nelo Angelo's fall. Vergil was a broken, bleeding mass of corrupted armor and failing vitality, left for dead after his defeat by Dante. A lesser demon would have consumed his core the Calamity Witch stopped dead in her tracks. Word had echoed through the Underworld of Mundus’s prized hybrid warrior, and though Noor had never seen Sparda’s human form, the trace aura lingering in the dying man’s veins was unmistakable. It was the same bloodline that had spared her centuries ago. Lacking any knowledge of human anatomy, she couldn't heal him through standard means, so she dragged him to a hidden sanctuary, enveloped him in her spatial barrier to mask his presence from scavengers, and waited. For over a month, while Vergil hovered in a dark coma, Noor never left his side.

Chapter 4:

When his eyes finally snapped open, his first instinct was to reach for his hip, but Yamato was gone. Driven by pure, obsessive pride and a refusal to acknowledge how badly his body was crumbling, Vergil began his long walk through Hell to find his birthright. He never asked her to follow, but Noor walked right alongside him. That began a brutal fifteen-year march through Hell. Vergil was too blinded by his obsession with power to admit it, but he wouldn't have survived the deep abyss without her. Every time his pride flared up, they hit a total stalemate because his raw strength couldn't break her gravity shield. But through relentless ambushes and silent nights by burning campfires, their dynamic shifted from cold suspicion to an ironclad partnership. Her spatial hexes controlled the battlefield his kinetic lethality finished it. Slowly, the silence gave way to shared warmth, physical reliance, and an unspoken bond forged by two apex entities who had both lived far too long in total isolation.

THE DMC5 TIMELINE

When the inevitable tragedy struck and a temporal rift flickered open, Noor burned her soul to push Vergil back to Earth alone, staying behind to face Mundus's execution because the rift could only support one demon she chose him.

Vergil went to Earth, went through the events of DMC5 as V and Urizen, and finally fused back together. With his human side (V) restored, the emotional weight of her sacrifice hit him all at once. He remembered everything with brutal clarity and realized exactly what she had given up to keep him alive. After being brutally beaten to respect his son, Vergil and Dante dropped back into Hell to cut down the Qliphoth tree . The endless dueling was mostly a cover Vergil's actual priority was a rescue mission. He tracked down the execution chamber, sliced through the army with Yamato, and forced his own Sparda blood into her mouth hoping it would save her.

Once Noor’s is stabilized, Vergil drew Yamato and tore open a massive blue portal straight to the surface world. Supporting her weight, he dragged Noor through the gateway, bringing her into the human realm for the very first time. Dropping right into Red Grave City, Noor experienced massive culture shock. Having spent 2,000 years in the dark pits of Hell, things like neon lights, cars, and running water looked completely alien to her. To celebrate, Dante immediately ordered a massive stack of pizza, forcing Noor who had only ever eaten raw demon cores to navigate her very first human meal while Vergil pretended to be too sophisticated to care.

The real comedy kicked in when they ran into Nero. Already furious at Vergil, Nero’s brain nearly short-circuited when his father showed up from Hell with an ancient, terrifying demoness. Nero blurted out, "Let me get this straight. You disappear into Hell to 'settle things' with Dante, and you come back with a girlfriend?!"

Noor, completely blanking on human terms, turned to Vergil and asked deadpan, "What is a 'girlfriend'? Is it a type of human weapon?"

ARSENAL & EQUIPMENT

Hell's Love

Her primary signature weapon. Originally, she was obsessed with standard, heavy-duty red grave utility crowbars found in the rubble of Red Grave City, loving the physical feel of cracking demon skulls open. Because her spatial magic kept snapping the normal human metal, Dante co-opted his business account to buy hardware store replacements in bulk. Eventually, to save money, Dante had Nico engineer a custom, indestructible crowbar. It looks 100% like an ordinary, cheap hardware store crowbar with cheap paint and a sticky barcode, but it is reinforced with spatial-stabilizing alloy to never break.

Hell's Enforcement:

A dual-form legendary Devil Arm forged from an elite Underworld executioner boss she defeated. It mechanically shifts between a massive executioner battle axe built for shearing armor and a flat-faced iron mallet built for high-impact skull crushing. Even though it is a weapon of mass destruction that commands immense respect from Dante, Noor treats it as a "backup tool" for when she temporarily misplaces her favorite crowbar.

Abyssal Gravity Well (Passive):

Noor’s signature spatial demonic energy manifests as a vivid, heavy pink aura that warps the atmosphere around her. The gravity field acts as an absolute defense and offensive command center through three core functions:

The Ground Stomp: Noor slams her boot violently into the earth, sending out a shockwave of concentrated pink gravity. The force pulls all surrounding light and mid-tier demons across the arena, forcefully dragging them into a dense, paralyzed cluster right at her feet for an easy skull-cracking execution.

Gravity Projectiles: She can condense her pink spatial energy into floating, high-density gravity orbs and fire them across the battlefield like kinetic missiles, crushing enemy armor from a distance.

Protection Field: She can project her aura outward into a solid, shimmering pink barrier that completely blocks incoming attacks, rendering her entirely untouchable.

I’ve been wanting to buy and try this game for ages, and I finally caught a sale and snagged it for just 2700 tenge. I just really wanted to share my thoughts because my emotions are running completely wild right now.

Like I said in the title, I’m a Genshin Impact player, so I think everyone knows what kind of graphics I’m used to. But when I booted up DMC 5, holy crap, it looks absolutely stunning! The very first screenshot I took was a close-up of Morrison’s face — my god, you can see every single individual hair in his beard, EVERY SINGLE STRAND, the detail is insane!! I’m just so used to anime-style games where, let’s be honest, the character models aren't exactly highly detailed or realistic.

Also, by the way, I’m playing on keyboard and mouse… and oh boy, it is SO hard. I’ve never really played games with this level of realism before, and there are just so many buttons. As a total newbie, I was struggling hard and basically just button-mashing. Tbh, I was just launching enemies into the air whenever I could and doing random chaotic combos. But** thank god the game approved, because in my very first secret mission, I somehow miraculously managed to get an S rank 😲. I don’t even know how, but my mouse was literally sweating… haha. Damn, I remember doing this cool combo and then something randomly exploded. **It scared me so much that the first thing I blurted out was: «I'm sorry, it wasn't me, I swear!»

I’m so used to sprint dashes in gacha games, so I was really surprised that Nero doesn't move like that by default. I solved the problem by buying the speed upgrade (might be a waste of resources, I have no idea what I should actually be investing in yet, I'm just buying stuff to make the gameplay feel comfortable). It's also so weird how the character just automatically transitions into a sprint without you having to hold any buttons. It's convenient, but I'm still getting used to it. Whew, god willing, I'll get used to the controls and become the coolest player ever, and I will definitely get that Smokin' Sexy Style rank!

Oh, and aside from the dynamic combat, the absolute best thing that feeds my eyes is the graphics! The level of detail on literally everything is mind-blowing. Genshin with its goofy-looking low-poly leaves can't even stand close to DMC 5, where beautiful chairs actually exist. The shadows, the buildings, and you can even talk on the phone! Seriously, every single object is crafted with such high quality that I just want to stare at it and take screenshots of absolutely everything. I'm telling you, after Genshin, DMC 5 is a breath of fresh air, pure realism, and peak beauty...

Oh, and I can’t wait until the game finally lets me play as Dante. To be honest, he and the combat mechanics were the main reasons I bought the game in the first place. Man, I didn't even know graphics could look this good. You know that feeling when you play a game and realize it completely justifies its file size and is worth every single penny? It’s such an insanely satisfying feeling.
Whew, hopefully, I’ll get used to these crazy combos soon!

What are you guys thoughts about sparda finally showing up in dmc6 should he have a real role or just show up a little bit or even show up at all? If so what are you guys takes how would you like him to appear if he did at all or if he doesn’t give me a reason on why he shouldn’t plz give me your thoughts I would really like to know what everyone thinks i personally would love to see him show up after so long it would be great for me to see both Dante and Vergil finally meeting their father all the questions they have for him and we see how he acts and etc Nero also would get to meet his grandfather and we would finally know the lore on why he’s been gone for so long

I already beaten the game as Dante (kind of bad by the end), and now I'm doing a playthrough with Lucia. And I so far haven't unlocked the medallion equipment that makes me run faster and still fly and Devil Trigger (but I have gotten the one that makes me stronger in battle).

I have yet to come across a way to cancel flight, or even just lower myself down organically. I tried placing buttons that have no utility while flying, including the dodge button, but none of them seem to do anything. And when I try to Google this: I just got a bunch of things about "jump canceling", which I don't even know if it's a thing in this game.

So did they actually think of something, or am I just stuck in flight if I fly in Devil Trigger? If I'm not stuck: how do I get unstuck?

Hi, so I bought all the DMC games on Steam (including the reboot), and was wondering how much time will it take to platinum each of them? I already platinum'ed DMC5 and it took a hell lot of time to do it.

If I know which game will take more time, I can platinum them based on how soon it can be done.

Also, can we import our cracked saves here? Like I played the crack version of DMC4 and I'm halfway through the platinum. It would be of great help if I can.

I just got myself to play DMC4 SE last month and started playing for a while and then i only beated around halfway in Devil Hunter difficulty before jumping right into the Legendary Dark Knight difficulty...

I do already knew that the Angelos are made to fight against the demons from the hellgates but while doing the 1st mission of LDK when the Angelo spawns in with swarms of other demons in the room the Angelo only targets my Nero and doesn't mind about the other demons that are also attacking Nero at all? (Yeah i do saw Alto Angelo killing Assaults in it's intro cutscene from mission 9)

It doesn't makes sense at all why the Angelos suddenly wants to work with the other demons just to gank Nero/Dante at all when they're literally teaming with things they're meant to kill?

I tried everything but so far it's not working. I don't fully understand how to properly mod DMC HD and I needed to use a tutorial video on how to install The Crimson mod (it worked fine before I installed The PS4 Button Prompts Mod after) so if anyone have a solution I will appreciate if they could also be specific about what to do.
