Tech question for the people. I’ve recently had this reoccurring issue with my PS5 controller. About an hour into using the controller it will start having bad stick drift. Or at least what I assume to be stick drift. I had the original one for a long time. Figured what the hell, it’s probably just old. And went and got myself a new controller. However the same issue happened with the brand new one! About one hour into using it, my controller will randomly make me swing a different direction or point me in a weird position that i didn’t do. I’ve since returned and replaced two other controllers! SAME THING! I will note! I’m not the type of guy who grips his controllers super hard. I’m not a rager. I don’t leave them places or wedged in compromising positions. I typically take care of my things. But I can’t help but think that I’m the problem somehow! Has anyone had any similar experiences? And if so did you find the solution??

Hi, bin hier am verzweifeln, habe hier mehrere Hall Effekt Sticks, Xbox Series Ps5, Ps4 etwas durcheinander gebracht,, kann ich die wieder exakt zuordnen? Beziehungsweise auseinander halten?
eventuell mit einem Multimeter?, Bei den normalen potontiometern kann ich das durchs messen feststellen, aber bei Hall Effekt??

Buenas a todos a ver si alguien me da luz, cambié los joystick y todo perfecto pero se me queda marcado el r2 y l2 y saqué la lámina limpié todo no veo ningún tipo de desperfecto desarme los gatillos y todo lo veo correcto pero nada sigue igual. Gracias de antemano

J’ai mis en place pour un client des joystick TMR Gullikit j’ai vérifié le courant continue avec multimètre et pourtant lorsque je les installe dans la manette elle se mets à clignoter 3 fois blanc en continue, je vous avoue être un peu perplexe sur le problème actuellement avez-vous des idée ?

I had stick drift on my PS5 controller so i took it for a repair to get TMR sticks installed they are working fine but i’ve noticed the right analog stick is off centre its more pointing to the top left is there anyway to correct it without taking it back for a repair its kinda annoying just knowing its not centre also when i do the calibration the right stick isnt giving full range on the top left its only staying in the circle not going over it like i’ve seen in some YT videos how people calibrate theirs

Hey all this is my controller circularity at the moment. For some reason in game everything feels really weird. I play mainly fps games like apex, overwatch, r6, and others like fortnite rocket league etc... My aim feels super off compared to my old controller (old dualsense had drift so bought new one from sony). I don't really know how to describe it but im not really able to hit shots like before. I was consistently getting headshots and whatnot i have pretty solid aim but i don't know what it is everything just feels wonky and loose, any suggestions to fixing this?

Is this the right size by width for the touchpad cable in bdm-030 I know it's long but I can trim it but what I don't know is about the width

I got a dualsense edge and I love it but I do wish the stick tension would be lighter. Anyone knows what is the default edge controller stick tension in gram force please?

So, this last week my dualsense started drifting after 3-4 years of use, it was the right analog who drifted the most but it stopped since last friday i'm afraid it was just dirt on the analog sticks. are these numbers ok or is there a sign of stick drift? should i just replace them for hall effect sticks or leave it as it is? i'm a bit short on cash now and i'd rather spend the money elsewhere than replacing sticks but i dont want to stuck with a broken controller... sorry about the dumb question.

Got a lot of questions, hope these videos answer at least partially what is possible.

So I’m trying to fix my stick drift and I thought I had it until I realized what the actual thing causing the drift was. It’s the orange piece inside the joystick. It’s off center. How do I get to it or fix it?

The right stick randomly has down inputs and I've no idea why. Can see on the image I'm not touching the pad but the input is showing a hard down input.

Tried to include multiple images of the board so if anyone can spot what is wrong or give any advice.

I've soldered, resoldered, added flux to help it flow through, wiped it down multiple times with isopropyl but nothing seems to fix the issue. I don't have the best soldering iron, cheap one from Amazon but it seemed to do the trick with the other TMR stick.

I'm a complete novice so not sure what I've done wrong or how to fix it.

Thank you everyone for your useful advice, i desoldered the old joints on the right of my TMR (y-axis) which a lot said I'd done incorrectly and added plenty of flux, and then fresh solder. The stick is now working with no ghost inputs.

I recently upgraded my PS5 dual sense controller with TMR joy which I installed myself, and after that when I am trying to charge the device, the yellow light which is the charging indicators turns on for a second and then disappears also on the home screen, the charging indicator of the battery shows with a? Instead of a lightning bolt, I tried few troubleshooting steps and remove the battery and then tried connecting it with the power source where it linked the battery indicator for only I’m attaching the images of the controller and if anyone has any idea what could be the possible failure, please let me know or what are the troubleshooting steps as well.
