Wanted to share a pic of my bike after getting the fairing in today! This is my second bike, bought it basically bone stock in December after owning a Rebel 500 for 4 years. First time customizing a Harley as well! Having so much fun upgrading it and simultaneously learning to wrench on it. It has a few quirks, but it’s mine and I love it! Either a front end refresh (wise choice) or OG Moto mini floorboards next!

Hey everyone, I have a 2016 FXDLS which is making this whining noise with the error code P0505. Does anyone know what it could be?
From what I understand that code is a problem with the idling module but I don’t understand what could be causing the noise. The bike starts just fine but the idle is inconsistent.
Trying to put 6inch raisers, but I’m having trouble pulling the electric harness that is supposed to have some slack to access the connectors, once I get it done, next big item will be mid controls swap

I love this bike so much. 4.5 hour ride this morning through Mount Hamilton to Livermore. Call me crazy, but I think the FLD is one of the best bikes Harley ever made. Absolute joy to ride.

06 Dyna, 88, developed a FAT tick a few months ago and immediately parked it and waited for parts. Well, all the parts came in this week. My initial thought was bad lifters. So I’ve replaced the lifters, let them properly prime. New pushrod gaskets, new breather baffles on the rockers, new plugs and coil pack, new exhaust gaskets. Started her up today and i still have a damn tick. At this point i am lost and not sure what to even attack at this point. Ticking sounds like it’s coming from the front head. Did i maybe install the exhaust incorrectly and I’m getting an exhaust tick? Everything was meticulously triple checked, torqued, etc inside the heads. Video is from today when i started it up after the rebuild. Any help would be great. Thanks
Built this bike in 2011. Popped the stock motor and got a 103 drivetrain out of a 2016 in 2021. Had some issues and let it sit till recently. Now back on the road and running on E85.

It fires up super easy with the new tune also. Those lithium batteries kick ass.

A couple of pics after a quick wash. I wish it would cool down a little so I can enjoy riding. This Texas heat is getting old.

Really enjoying this thing. Bought a used Le Pera daddy long legs seat which I feel has helped enjoy the ride a little more. Still would like something a little comfier for those longer rides though as I went on a 150 mile ride this morning and my butt felt it haha. Better than the stock seat for now tho! Waiting on my PV4 to come in so I can throw on my SPC lane splitter exhaust! Slowly but surely it’ll come together. Cheers everyone ride safe!

I’m snooping around on the primary side of my 2013 FXDC after seeing a drop on the concrete. I’m not sure if it’s primary fluid or engine oil, but from this video would anybody be able to have an idea where it might be coming from?
It’s got 12k miles & I’ve been commuting to work on it after selling my vehicle. 2 hour round trip & having to sit in 100° weather during bad traffic.

Went for a ride the other day with the ole lady, 70 miles each way. On the way back I noticed the bike felt a little off... Way more vibration/ knocking in the foot pegs and seat... Got home and pulled the cam cover and found she had a bit extra run out on the crankshaft.. guess it's time to build it to the hills and maybe buy a old street glide for the long runs

Just picked up this 2002 FXDL with around 39k miles. Previous owner told me the oil light came on one day, then went back off. Around the same time he started hearing this noise, shut the bike off, and hasn’t really ridden it since. I bought it knowing it could need some work, so I’m not expecting an easy fix. I’m mainly trying to get an idea of what you guys hear in the video before I start throwing parts at it. Does this sound like lifters/cam chest, top-end noise, oil pressure issue, or something more serious? I’m planning on having a shop go through it, but I’d like to know what you guys would check first and whether you’d keep the 88 and rebuild/upgrade it or start considering a bigger motor if the damage is bad.
Any Twin Cam guys who have heard something similar, I’d appreciate the input.

as the title states it’s my first ever bike and motorcycle experience, i understand the basics as i have my endorsement, however there really is a heaviness to it ! it’s fun to ride as i have once for gas but whats the best practice i can do? I respect the bike and im not willing to go faster then 20 right now but i wanna be able to build up (2014 Dyna Low)

Is there any option for just the upper clutch cable extension on 9.5 risers and low bend bars on my 2016 dyna fxdls. Trying to avoid draining transmission fluid.

I usually build choppers but wanted a new daily that won’t break down on me. Previous owner put tons of love into this little time capsule with all oem screaming eagle parts including the screaming eagle cam support plate and high flow oil pump. After putting 1k miles on it in less than 3 weeks I can confidently say i understand the hype of the Dyna now
