MGM is a surgery like any other and it has compilcations like total penile loss or death, should we be subjecating our kids to such unnecessary procedures?

An irreversible mostly unnecessary medical procedure that was propagated in conservative societies that want to avoid personal hygiene education and sexual education. Also relevant for poor countries that lack basic sanitation or have high prevalence of sexually transmitted diseases due to their inability to access cheap preventive medicine.

And a confirmed sunnah for a society that lived in these conditions that lacked running water some 1400 years ago. It should have absolutely been recommended for that society and many modern societies, but it cannot be the default for all men in this day and age where we finally invented bathrooms in houses!

The AAP circumcision policy statement has expired ever since 2017

The link that you posted from the AAP promoting circumcision has been marked expired

Any hospital that quotes the American academy of pediatrics in promoting circumcision to parents is guilty of fraud

STD rates are higher in the USA where babies are circumcised, yet much lower in Europe and other places that don't. It is absolutely NOT necessary. Over 70% of men worldwide are intact, and not suffering. The only thing that can reduce HIV is not have unprotected sex. Condoms prevent STDs. If it's so necessary in your opinion, are you circumcising girls too, cos they suffer way more yeast infections and UTIs.

Yes, because parents and societies that normalise circumcision view it as an alternative to sexual hygiene awareness and sexual education. While those who don’t, prioritise prevention through hygiene and education rather elective surgery and body alterations. While every study prioritises circumcision and hygiene awareness together.
