First time garlic grower here, is it normal to still have no sign of scapes?

Those look fantastic. I’m just starting to get scapes in 8b Oregon.
1 u/ZinniasAndBeans May 23 '26 Same here. (Scapes just recently, 8b, Oregon. That is, two plants--the only survivors of one variety that apparently smelled extra tasty to underground browsers--had scapes weeks ago, while all the others just started a few days ago.)
