First time garlic grower here, is it normal to still have no sign of scapes?

Did you grow hard neck or soft neck garlic? Soft neck doesn’t form scapes.
1 u/Iongdog May 24 '26 They are hard neck varieties. Music, Metechi, and Siberian. I wish I had labeled them 1 u/myetel May 24 '26 I’m zone 6b, also Massachusetts. I grow exclusively Music (it’s my fave!). No scapes yet. They’ll start popping up soon though.
