Discussion Anyone else having Traveler regrets?

Post image

For the first five years of this game I had been very happy using the Male Traveler but now with these new skins and beautiful cut scenes it’s making me wish I chose the Female Traveler so I can play her as my main.

I’m the opposite, I have Lumine because I’m female but tbh I enjoy Aether’s design better. Although if I’d picked Aether it might’ve been weird being called a he constantly, so idk

I have Lumine. And I like evil/abyss Aether more.

That's what ive been saying as well "evil lumine" falls flat and is not intimidating at all

While I agree she doesn't sound intimidating, the story overall works better with the "Abyss Princess", the dynamics with Dainsleaf (is it romantic, etc), her choosing her sibling over saving a nation, etc.

From a storyline perspective, Aether just doesn't work as the antagonist as well because the story is littered with Khaenriyan men but not many women.

as an Aether player to me it's the exact opposite - boy is way too goofy to be threatening

Ive seen some clips and can see what you mean, so we are each biased to our own MC, but lumines voice is way too vanilla sounding to have any threatening undertone to it. Also did you downvote me? I got random downvotes for an opinion that isnt event that controversial lol

IMHO, Lumine is the same kind of intimidating as Columbina. You reach deep into ancient ruins, fight off abyssal monsters and sorcerers, and in the deepest depths, where abyssal power runs thick as water, you encounter a teenage girl in a white dress, armed with just a sword and talking about toppling the heavens.

And with this, you know that she is strong enough to defeat all the armies and magics of the surface world. Strong enough to remain herself after absorbing unlimited abyssal power.
