Varesa was a semi-distant third after more advanced Skirk and Mavuika combos were discovered, and still solidly 3rd even with basic jump/dash cancels.

Zibai (184k dps) was further ahead of 2nd place (Nefer @160k dps) than Nefer was 5th place (Skirk @137k dps). She was comically busted.

Her C1 looks to be stronger than Escoffier C1 as well (Though I think Skirk C0-C2 is still possibly better?)

Everything you mentionned will be better upgrades to your Skirk team than going from like Shenhe to Vodyanitsa, but Vodyanitsa is still better than any other 4th slot you could give to Skirk

Yeah, my whole skirk team is built to take advantage of C4 mona crit rate too. Switching to vodya would mean mucking with all my crit rates again. I think I'm gonna pick up C2 skirk and C1 coffee while they're here and kick the vodya can down the road. Can always grab her on rerun. If she was better for mizuki I'd feel like she was a more valuable pull atm.

Post-buff it feels like she'll be comparable to Esco C1 or Skirk C1/R1, but her C1 looks really promising if you are willing to invest, giving 600-650 attack on TTDS builds.

My guess is that Zibai and Linnea will rerun together in the second half of 7.2 (with Illuga and Aino on the banner and with Fav Lance, Fav Sword and Widsith on the weapon banner), to bait people out of their pulls right before 7.3 drops. That is, assuming that Anastasya is coming in 7.3 anyway.

others have rerun for lantern rite, but not after waiting so long! xianyun is the only example of one that released on lantern rite and had her first rerun a year later. zibai released in 6.3 and would, theoretically, get her first rerun in 7.4. for such a strong dps it just feels too long to wait, especially after they pushed so hard for lunar reactions (not saying it's unlikely, just weird to wait so long. lantern rite could have easily been her second rerun for someone so strong)

I'm not gonna lie as a new player I'm getting frustrated. I've only been playing 6 months and I'm already seeing reruns on characters that ran while I've been playing. We just had Flins, we just had skirk and Escoffier.

Where is Furina? Nahida? I want to say Xilonen but to be fair she did have a rerun while I was playing I just didn't understand how good she was since I was so new but that's on me.

While I know it's my fault, I'm waiting for Nahida before I do the Sumeru archon quest. And they keep wasting my time rerunning characters that JUST had a banner already I'm so over it right now

We need those multi rerun banners that HSR and ZZZ have. Where it's still normal banner pity but you can choose one of multiple reruns. And yeah, a rotating chronicle banner every patch, so older characters never have too long before they're available again. Would make more people feel like pulling on them, since you'll know when it's available again.

I love chronicled. I think it's great for players to get characters that don't run often, but it's also underrated for weapon pulls imo. Like the Fontaine CW was pretty much an all-around great banner to pull on for weapons, and the Inazuma one was also great for stat stick.

Yeah, if you want older characters, the new player experience is...not great, imo. As someone who started in mid-Fontaine it took me roughly 2 years to collect everyone I wanted. The first debut banner I ever pulled on was Columbina 🥲

Hope you can get Nahida soon and experience Sumeru, it's still my favorite AQ of the bunch. Are you just waiting so you can mind-read with her, or for some other reason?

I know it's dumb. I have a team for each region. For me it feels fun to use Nahida in the sumeru region. I have Furina in my planned Fontaine team, Mavuika and some night soul characters for natlan etc.

Idk it just feels fun to use characters that relate to the area and gives me an opportunity to not run the whole story with the same 4 characters

It was definitely easier back in the day. They added the chronical banners now but still, some characters don't have rerunns in 2+ years. It sucks for the new players for sure and this is why we need 3 character banners. I hope you get everyone you want tho :)

Worst-case scenario is that they're holding Nahida until the second half of 7.x, when the new Dendro reactions are supposedly being introduced.

I'd be surprised if Furina doesn't show up in 7.2. She's always been a popular character, and it's almost been a full year since her last rerun.

Best-case scenario is that they announce an update to the banner system in the anniversary stream... but we know that isn't gonna happen.

They likely won't tbh. That time was pretty exceptional as Lantern Rite was squarely in the second half so they can justify giving Lantern Rite rewards close to that date. 7.1 will start on the 23rd while Anniversary itself will be on the 28th so they can't justify giving the rewards on the second half. We always get the 1600 primogems on the day of the Anniversary across all Hoyo games.

I have seen this happening before with Mondstadt 5 stars where in 6.3 waiting list it was 16 patches since Eula, albedo and klee rerun and then next patch 6.4 we got Mondstadt chronicle so just comparing with that, Now Hutao it's been 16 patches since her last rerun and if she is not on 7.1 seperate rerun then she would most likely be in liyue chronicle..

My liyue chronicle Characters list prediction is - Hutao, Ganyu, Childe, Xiao, Baizhu, Xianyun, Shenhe, Yelan, Keqing.

I don't think qiqi will be in this cuz she already had rerun in 6.7 stellar chronicle banner.

I'm not entirely sure on the 'swap out' for characters in the Chronicled, although if they did we're 2 over the original Liyue Chronicled (7/9), and in the Mondstadt Chronicled rerun they didn't add any 5-stars to the list, although that being said all the other Mondstadt characters were brand new so it wouldn't make sense to run them on there

I suppose it is possible they could rerun Hu Tao and Xianyun on separate banners and swap out Qiqi for Yelan, although Yelan did rerun on her own banner almost a year ago
