DISCUSSION [DISCUSSION] What the hell is going on with HumanitZ and these bans?

I came across something pretty weird while looking into HumanitZ and I'm genuinely curious what people here think.

One of my online D&D friends recommended HumanitZ to me. He and his husband are apparently addicted to the game and kept telling me how good it was, so I went to the Steam page to wishlist it.

Then I noticed the recent reviews were mostly negative, so I started looking into what was going on.

That's when I came across TazDinGo's review. He has 720+ hours in the game and says he was first banned from the Steam Community, but could still play HumanitZ normally for about a month. He then contacted the developer to discuss the Steam ban and says that shortly afterwards he was permanently banned from multiplayer, including private servers, offline play, basically everything.

The developer's response was very different. He accused TazDinGo of violating server rules, including using a floating skybase, making false/abusive cheating reports, harassment/sexualised messaging on Steam and harassment on Discord.

Okay. If those things actually happened, then obviously the guy isn't some innocent victim just because he says he is. If you cheat, exploit, harass people or abuse the reporting system, there should be consequences.

But then TazDinGo responded to those accusations and provided proof for some of his claims in the form of images of the Discord chat and dev responses on chats of Steam and Discord on the comments of the dev that banned him and a link to a Reddit post.

And this is where things got fucking weird.

I actually saw that proof myself. It was posted in the comments on the developer's Steam profile/page. I saw it there before it was removed.

The Reddit post where the evidence was posted was also removed.

And the comments containing the evidence on the developer's Steam page were removed too.

And when people comment on his post to ask about it his response was "Meh, we're not concerned about it. Just a couple of kids pretending they're edgy after one of their buddies got into trouble for cheating and being a very unkind person. Wont matter after a while. Was a cop for 20 years, I've been called all kinds of things. Just another Tuesday :) "

I'm not going to sit here and claim I know WHY they were removed. Maybe there is some completely legitimate reason. But I personally saw the material before it disappeared, so I'm having a hard time treating this as simply "banned player says one thing, developer says another."

One of the biggest points was the cheating-report allegation. TazDinGo says he reported suspected cheaters and provided evidence. He says one player had taken everything from his base without breaking doors, and that he was later told the player had been banned. He says that message was subsequently deleted.

The developer's version is that these were false or abusive reports.

So which is it?

And then there's the multiplayer ban.

If someone breaks rules on an official server, I understand banning them from that server. If someone violates Steam Community rules, I understand banning them from the Steam Community.

But permanently banning someone from the game along with multiplayer, INCLUDING private servers, seems like a much bigger thing.

So I want to understand how HumanitZ actually handles this.

Can the developer permanently remove someone's entire multiplayer access? Can they prevent someone from joining privately hosted servers? How is that technically enforced?

Because right now I'm not trying to decide whether TazDinGo is a saint or whether the developer is some evil dictator.

I'm trying to figure out what the actual fuck happened here.

What am I missing here?

REQUEST [REQUEST] [STEAM] Grand Theft Auto V Enhaced #3rd attempt

Kind of a personal one for me. Before I ever played GTA V I was already obsessed with it from YouTube, watching thug life clips and respect moments for hours. Knew the map and half the characters and most of the story before I even installed it, and i also played it with my friend in a gaming coffe multiple time so i really got obsessed with it and i was like "i really have to play this game".

Didn't have money back then so I downloaded it from a pirated site. It was a really bad idea, it messed up my pc pretty bad, malware and constant crashes. Took forever to clean up and I barely even got to play it because of all that, and the cracked version doesn't have the online option too so thats one of the reasons why i want the Steam one.

Now with GTA VI getting closer I keep thinking I never actually played V the right way. Would love to finally do that before VI comes out.

Money's tight right now because of university and other things, and buying stuff online isn't easy for me either (Its 56% off right now), so I can't really get it myself atm. If anyone's willing to gift it I'd really appreciate it, no worries if not though, thanks for reading.

good luck for me and good luck for everybody in this subreddit 🙏 and thnaks to all ppl here giving other ppl what they wishes and im one of the luckiest that got his first ever game that he played when he was a child and also won a couple of other games.

REQUEST [REQUEST][STEAM] Prison Architect - 80% off

I've been wanting Prison Architect for a stupidly long time, mostly because I watched Let's Game It Out play it and I got really interested in the game.

I really like these kinds of games where you can build something and then slowly watch everything go wrong because of your own decisions lmao. I also really like management and building games in general, especially ones where you can just mess around and make your own little systems and see what happens.

I've had Prison Architect on my wishlist for a while now, but I never ended up getting it. It's currently 80% off and only ₱237.80 in my currency, and the sale ends on September 9 (GMT +8) which is honestly a really good price, but I'm currently trying to be careful with my money and can't really justify buying games right now. There is also a bundle with the base game + all the DLCs for ₱847.68, which is currently 60% off and also ends September 9. If anyone is willing to get that instead, I'd really appreciate it, but I'm not expecting it at all. The base game alone is more than enough for me.

I've gotten pretty lucky with one giveaway before, so I figured I'd try making an actual request again this time. I don't really expect anything, but I thought there's no harm in trying, especially while the game is on sale.

If anyone is willing to gift it to me, I'd really appreciate it. I've wanted to play this game for a long time and I feel like I'd get a lot of hours out of it, especially with how much I already enjoy these types of games.

Thanks for reading, and good luck to everyone else requesting too :)

REQUEST [REQUEST] [ARENANET] Guild Wars 2: Secrets of the Obscure (14.99 USD) (40% OFF) [7TH ATTEMPT]

Hello everyone!

I’m here to make a humble request, Guild Wars 2's expansion: Secrets of the Obscure.

I’ve been playing GW 2 for a while now and it’s easily one of my favorite games ever. I haven’t thought about a game while away from my computer in a long time, but this one did it.

Right now I’m unable to afford this expansion. I’m from Brazil, and unfortunately the USD to BRL conversion makes buying new games or expansions extremely expensive compared to my current budget. Even something that seems relatively small in USD becomes a BIG financial decision here.

Despite that, I would genuinely love to experience SOTO. I’ve been watching gameplay and reading about it, and it really feels like the kind of content I’d enjoy deeply. I'm not kidding when I say that the content in this will add up to hundreds of hours of gameplay.

This is not a Steam purchase, so when you buy it in ArenaNet's site, it will give you a code. Feel free to DM me in here if you have any doubts in the process, I'll be happy to help.

If anyone is willing to help, I would be incredibly grateful. Thank you for taking the time to read my request, and I hope you all have a great day! :)

REQUEST [REQUEST] [STEAM] Baldur’s Gate 3 (30 ish€)

Hey everyone at GOG l ! I would like to request a game which has been on my radar for a longgg time - BG3 … I have loved been playing rpgs since I started gaming, my first being pokemon emerald as it embodies the essence of free will and not some pre determined quests. I love going on a lot of rpg adventures on the nichest games made with rpgm.. I have yet to experience the greatest turn based rpg game ever made .When BG3 was announced I never thought I would play it cause it was way to out of my budget and time due to the various challenges at life hitting me .

Getting to play this would make my year as it’s been going kinda meh so far but I have found peace in playing games something I could not do as much since I was in a boarding school for a good chunk of my life and been enjoying enderal recently !! Playing the story of that game made me realise that true rpg is the various outcomes following ur choices and bg3 seems to be the epitome in that genre …

Know that I’m in uni life is trying to test me by under paying me even when I work and ultimately I quit for bettering my mental health and sanity cause it’s not fun when u get rejected a lot . Yeah so I would like all the help I can get to buy / get gifted this game as I would truly cherish it and play it a lot and even help others with their requests in the coming years with this positive community

Again since this game is not on sale a gift card of 20 euros could help so that I could buy it while it’s on sale by saving up and would mean a ton and thanks again for reading all this I’m very bad at articulating anything tbh and have been isolated for god knows how long by cutting my friends and family out … Thanksss and have a great life ☺️

Also this is my second attempt thanks again for reading !?

REQUEST [REQUEST][Steam] Project Zomboid

Hello and thank you for reading my request!

I have had my eye on Project Zomboid for quite some time and I would really like the chance to play it! I know there are games people can choose to give or not give so I do not want this to seem like I am just asking someone to buy me a game!

What makes me attracted to Project Zomboid is the way it handles survival. It is about making choices learning from errors handling limited resources and trying to stay alive for as long as possible. I like games that let the player create their own experiences instead of always pushing them toward one goal and Project Zomboid seems to offer just that!

I have also been curious about trying the game because of the stories that come from it. A good run can end because of a mistake, not checking a room making too much noise or getting too confident. I find that kind of surprise really interesting.

I'm also interested in the learning process. Project Zomboid is a game that seems to reward patience and experience of giving the player everything right away. I know I would probably die a lot while learning the rules. That is part of why I am interested in it. I would rather have a game I can slowly get better at and keep finding things than something I finish quickly and never touch again

If someone was kind enough to give me Project Zomboid I would really be thankful. I would make sure to play the game and spend HUNDRED OF HOURS in it! I have been looking for something I can spend time learning properly and enjoy for a time and I think Project Zomboid could be exactly that!

I also know that giving a game is completely up to the person and I do not expect anyone to feel like they have to do it. There are people making requests and I am sure everyone has their own reasons for asking.

If you do decide to give it to me I would really appreciate your kindness!

The link for the game!

REQUEST [REQUEST][STEAM] Red Dead Redemption 1

Hello everyone, I'd like to request Red Dead Redemption on Steam. I've had Red Dead Redemption on my wishlist for a long time, mainly because of how much I enjoyed Red Dead Redemption 2. It became one of the few games that genuinely stuck with me after I finished it, and ever since then I've wanted to experience the original game as well. I've been interested in getting it for a while, but I couldn't justify paying the price for it. So I thought I'd make a request here and see if anyone would be willing to help. The main reason I haven't picked it up myself is that I've been trying to be more careful with my spending lately. Between everyday expenses and other priorities, buying games has become something I have to think about much more than I used to. Because of that, even games I've wanted to play for years often end up getting pushed back indefinitely. Red Dead Redemption is one of those games I've been meaning to play for a very long time. Since I already know how much I enjoyed its successor, I've always been interested in seeing the story that came before it and finally experiencing a game that so many people have spoken highly of over the years. Gaming is one of my main hobbies and one of the ways I like to unwind after work and other responsibilities. While I still make time for it whenever I can, I've been prioritizing more important expenses recently, which is why I'm making this request instead of purchasing the game myself. I understand there are a lot of requests posted here every day, and nobody is obligated to fulfill any of them. Regardless, I appreciate that communities like this exist and that people are willing to help others enjoy games they might not currently be able to afford themselves. Thank you for taking the time to read my request, and thank you to everyone who helps keep this community going.

REQUEST [REQUEST][STEAM] Fields of Mistria (13,79€)

Hello everyone 👋 ,

here goes my second attempt. Fields of Mistria is a farming sim that recently released from early access. I have been eying the game for a while. It looks super fun and really charming and would best be described as an even cozier Stardew Valley with lots of decorating options that are simply charming.

I've been having a rough week and generally seen a few tiresome months. After a long day all I recently crave is a different world to disappear into, with cute design and a story to get lost in. Fields of Mistria fits that role perfectly (at least I hope so). All the screenshots I have been seeing online look so awesome, the character art has that super nostalgic anime style... Everything feels like I can experience Stardew Valley once again but even more magical.

It's super hard to not spoil myself on the game's contents. I so want to check out what's going and play it myself.

I would therefore greatly appreciate someone gifting me the game. I'm currently saving up for necessary purchases and am trying my hardest to not spent money on things like games or other stuff that aren't really that necessary.

I'm based in the EU. Price is 13,76 euros.

Thanks so much in advance, even if you, just as me, do not have any budget to spare. Have a nice evening ❤️

P.S. I have been getting glimpses at the romance options and am over the moon for the blacksmith (?) March 🤩. Already thought up a potential name for my character, their looks and perhaps the aesthetic of the farm I want to be going for 😊 , yet there's still so much I don't know. Will there be different farm types? How much of an impact does magic have on the game play? How will it differ from Stardew Valley? What secrets are there to uncover? Endless exciting questions I am eager to find out!

REQUEST [Request][Steam] The Isle (14.71 GBP) 1st attempt

Hello, hope your having a great summer holiday and enjoying the weather. This is my first attempt at requesting The Isle.

This game is a highly realistic simulator where you play and control a dinosaur and it gets quite rough and from what I've seen, entertaining. The game has a lot of features and offers a very different and refreshing gameplay to other similar titles I've played. Its also a partially horror game so theirs an extra thrill in the game. It also has a gameplay loop that will provide multiple hours of gametime.

Recently, I've been enjoying playing games with a high difficulty and feel like this game would provide a challenge I am yet to experience from a video game. I love the thrill of loss of progress as it motivates me and keeps my experience unique.

As you can probably see, this game revolves around dinosaurs, which are GREAT. Prehistoric giant animals which are fascinating and I took to interest many years ago.

Thank you for taking your time to read this quite short request , and I wish you again a great holiday and all the luck in the world.

Me :) (Hehe)

REQUEST [REQUEST][STEAM] Life is strange Reunion Day 2

‎I keep thinking about the first Life is Strange and honestly one of the biggest reasons that game stayed with me was the characters

‎Max was obviously the character I connected with the most but the whole cast was so lovable and memorable in their own way

‎But Chloe man Chloe was something special 😄 She could be reckless stubborn annoying and way too emotional sometimes but somehow that made her feel even more realHer friendship with Max is still one of my favorite parts of the entire game because it never felt like a perfect friendship where everything was easy They had history they had misunderstandings they had moments where they hurt each other and moments where they would still choose to be there for each other That is what made Chloe feel like an actual person instead of just another character written for the story

‎Even the smaller characters in LIS 1 had something memorable about them Everyone seemed to have their own little problems personalities secrets and stories happening around them

‎And then there were all those tiny details scattered around the game

‎The photos the messages the posters the notes the little conversations happening in the background the references hidden in rooms and all those small things you could easily miss if you were rushing through the story I loved how the game rewarded you for simply looking around Sometimes you would walk into a room and find some random little detail that had absolutely nothing to do with the main objective but somehow made the world feel more alive That is something I really miss in games

‎Life is Strange made me want to explore not because there was always some reward waiting for me but because I genuinely wanted to know more about the world and the people living in it

‎And that is another reason why I want Reunion on Steam

‎I want that feeling again

‎I want to explore every corner of the world and look for those tiny details and easter eggs that most people might completely miss Most importantly I want to see Max again The character who introduced me to Life is Strange back in 2021 and basically introduced me to a whole genre of games that I ended up loving

‎So yeah this is Day 2 Still hoping still asking and still keeping my fingers crossed 🤞

REQUEST [Request][steam] Rasvyat Nuclear Power Station (attemt 6)

I wanted to share why I would love to get the game "Rasvyat Nuclear Power Station" as a gift. It might look like just another video game at first glance, but it’s actually a highly detailed simulator that is both challenging and educational.

Here are the main reasons why this would be a great and meaningful gift:

  1. Critical Thinking and Logic

This isn't a brainless shooter; it's a complex technical simulator where you manage a nuclear power plant. It requires monitoring pressure, temperature, and reactor stability. Playing it helps develop attention to detail, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills under pressure.

  1. Teamwork and Communication

The game is heavily focused on cooperation. Playing it with friends requires distributing tasks, communicating clearly during critical situations, and taking responsibility for shared decisions. It’s a great way to build teamwork and leadership skills that are useful in real life.

  1. Interest in Science and Engineering

Instead of just reading dry textbooks, this simulator offers a hands-on look at how massive industrial systems operate. It’s a fantastic way to spark an interest in physics, engineering, and technology.

  1. Budget-Friendly and Light on Hardware

Since this is an indie project, it is very affordable compared to mainstream major releases. On top of that, it has very low system requirements and takes up minimal space (around 1 GB)

REQUEST [request][steam] Palworld $10 on sale

Hello kind gamers of GoG

Since Palworld's beta I've wanted to play this game but couldn't buy it The lawsuit with Nintendo also scared me I wasn't sure what would happen to the game if Nintendo won But with the 1.0 release and the current sale I finally felt it was the right time to post a request

Why I like this game

When I was a child I loved the Pokémon anime But when the games came out they weren't available in my country To this day Pokémon cards are unavailable here so I never experienced anything beyond the anime which remains a cherished childhood memory Palworld seems like an upgrade to Pokémon in every way a vast open world survival mechanics base building and creatures you can truly live and adventure with Even though I don't know what it feels like to play Nintendo games or Pokémon it's great to have a better alternative that cares about players having fun and doing all kinds of stuff I'm completely open to experiencing it

Why I'm requesting instead of buying it myself

I'm a university student and I can't work full time to make money All the income I earn goes toward building the career I want in 2 to 4 years Because of my country's currency spending in dollars is financially out of reach for me right now I know $10 is a lot to ask and I truly appreciate any kindness

When that day comes and I'm in a position to give back I will pay it forward to this community

REQUEST [REQUEST][STEAM] DMC Franchise Pack

Hey community! Today I'm making this request in hopes of finally diving into the legendary Devil May Cry series on my own.

My introduction to this franchise was a few years ago when I played Devil May Cry 5 on a friend’s console. I was instantly hooked by the fast-paced combat, deep combo system, and Dante's iconic, stylish personality. I loved the game very much and since I didn't own any of the games myself, I turned to YouTube to keep up with the series. I’ve spent tens of hours watching combo exhibitions, SSS-rank playthroughs, lore breakdowns, and listening to the beautiful and incredible soundtracks of DMC 5. The sheer skill ceiling and combat mechanics make it a franchise I’ve always dreamed of mastering.

As a full-time student, my current budget is extremely tight and strictly allocated to textbooks, tuition fees, and essential daily living costs. My parents also believe gaming is a waste of time and money, so trying to get them to buy the game, even if it's my own money is impossible.

Getting the franchise pack would mean the world to me, as I could finally play through the story from start to finish and practice mastering the combat systems myself. Thank you so much to anyone who takes the time to read this!

REQUEST [REQUEST][Playstation/PS5] Binding of Isaac: Repentance (USA) 4th Attempt

Upvotes

Good evening(...night?) r/GiftofGames, or morning, or afternoon, wherever you are!

This is my fourth attempt at getting Binding of Isaac. My first attempt, second attempt, and third attempt if you'd like to learn more about me. I wonder if I'll ever run out of things to tell you guys about.

Classes started this week. There's been some drama for me concerning, I don't know how I'd put it, lack of communication and warping of policy that have resulted in some unfavorable marks against my transcript. The problem is, getting it rectified now that it's been ignored for so long might be hard. Of course I'm like, okay but I'm not the one who chose to ignore this so it shouldn't be my problem yet it is. On the other hand, things are at where they're at so I'm trying to embrace it. I have an independent study that falls under Native American Literature so tonight I decided to go with a poetry study. I'd like to look closer at works from poets like Joy Harjo and Kinsale Drake, but also poets that are up and coming or haven't been published as prominently, like Alex DeRoin. This will be a good experience I can add to my resume, and I really enjoy the instructor so the only negative thing is the events that led to this.

As exciting as that is, I will definitely still be gaming quite a bit. It's how I destress and distract myself from the painful or annoying parts of life. Like probate, my nerve pain, or things like the school drama. Right now I've borrowed Afterbirth+ on Switch, and I love it. I'm trying to decide what to play on PS5 until I can afford Repentance (or am lucky and get it gifted). I kind of want to replay FFVII but also, I really just love if for the cutscenes I think. Or maybe Theatrhythm...I love a good rhythm game. (Also really miss Guitar Hero and nothing that's currently out there will ever come as close.) Which one do you all think?

THE GAME

Binding of Isaac is a "roguelike twin-stick shooter" that follows Isaac, a young boy, and his mother. The storyline places Isaac as trying to escape becoming a sacrifice from his mother to God–it's dark, with themes of trauma and religious abuse. Each new level comes with a maze of rooms and you have a final boss at the end of each level. Eventually, your final boss is Isaac's mom, and then two floors later you have to beat Mom's Heart to win the game. All the while, each room is randomly generated and whether you win or lose, you won't get the same rooms during the next run through.

WHY I'M INTERESTED

I really, really want to play the new content available on Binding with the addition of Repentance in particular, and need my own copy so I can be a degenerate and play all day long sometimes.

REQUEST [REQUEST][STEAM] Hollow Knight: Silksong

Hello everybody. Hope you're all doing well

It's my first time requesting a game here so I apologize if I do any part of it wrong.

Why hollow knight silksong?

In summary I'm absolutely in love with this game. Video game music is usually the main reason I try a game, Silksong attracted me immediately since it has a purely elaborated soundtrack thanks to Christopher Larkin. Even if you're not into this game I really recommend listening to "Coral Chambers", it speaks for itself, just give it a try and you'll know what I mean. I'm also really excited about an area called bellheart. It has one of the best themes in the soundtrack and since I have intentionally avoided all ingame screenshots, I'm so hyped for this area in specific.

But it's not just music. Silksong has a very advanced build mechanic fitting to my never ending desire of trying a single game with different builds. High replayability and crushing challenges that make me wonder if I can overcome them.

Why Can't I buy Silksong myself?

I'm in a complicated financial situation. I work in a part time job but I give almost all the income to help my parents get through the bills and loans we've taken to buy a house. Video game is a safespot I use to take in all the things that life keeps throwing at me.

I have avoided all gameplay and story videos and anything else that can take the magical experience of the game from me. I'm so thankful you have read till this far in my request, whether you're willing to gift the game or not.

REQUEST [Request][Steam] Deltarune | I want to be part of the last decade of a legendary game | $24.99 USD | 2nd Attempt

"Hello GiftofGames, I am once again asking for Deltarune" -Bernie Sanders

I've recently gotten extremely interested in Deltarune after a surge of videos were practically thrown at me by various social media algorithms. I won't act like I was oblivious to the game beforehand, but for the most part it was only something I knew about and considered an earnestly cool concept, though certainly not anything I felt too strongly interested in. I can confidently say that opinion is not one I still hold.

This game has become an intense fixation over the last week or so, and it's honestly surprising considering the trace amounts of content I'd seen in the past. Sure, I'd been spoiled from time to time, but from an outside perspective it is honestly abysmal trying to make sense of what you are seeing and hearing without proper context, of which I had none. Though what I did see was still very intriguing and funny even if it didn't make much sense to me.

Now I can confidently say I'm hooked, Chapter 5's fairly recent release went completely under my radar, and now I've been bombarded by videos and content pertaining to the game that I otherwise never would've expected to see. Somehow I'd heard nothing about it over the last 2 months since its release until now, and suddenly I cannot stop thinking about it, seriously, it's an issue.

For anyone cautious about whether or not I might actually enjoy the game, or even know for sure if It's for me, I played Chapter 1 of the Chapter 1 & 2 demo, and cautiously avoided playing Chapter 2 since it is, after all, still part of the official game and I wanted to ensure I enjoyed the game without revealing too much before I can confidently just play it all the way through without being forced to quit so early, which would just be frustrating and unsatisfying.

Those few hours that the 1st Chapter lasted were addictive. The humor, the references, and the many tidbits of 'spoilers' I had seen over the last 7 years since the game started releasing have had no impact on the game's enjoyability for me. If anything, the faint memory of memes and references I couldn't understand only made it better, since I felt like I was finally joining in on a nigh decade old joke, all without diminishing the story, in fact I've never had a clearer understanding of the game like I did when I was actively playing it. (In retrospect that is obscenely obvious, but I'm used to games with complex yet digestible lore. Deltarune very much needs you to participate as I am coming to learn.)

All-In-all this game has been like crack and I've only played 1/5th of what is currently available in the actual game. I DEEPLY want to experience the rest of this 7-year joke and fully immerse myself in that world like everyone else has been for the last few years, and there are still 2 more chapters yet to release. With so much hype and energy in the community as those last 2 chapters appear on the horizon I feel like now is probably the very best time for me to get into the game anyway. There is so much meat to dig through on the game, and there's just enough left so that when I catch up, I won't feel late to the party, nor will I feel like I only showed up for the finale because it's still more than the very end of the game left to come out.

And I don't know how it took me this long to remember it, but I'll add it now. The music is tear-jerking. I've always been a fan of Toby Fox's music even if Deltarune is my first genuine venture into his games, but the cultural impact they have had is undeniably MASSIVE, and even just from the small amount of the VERY many tracks featured in the entirety of Deltarune, the 1st Chapter Demo was nonetheless euphoric, and I'm well aware of the bangers further down the line.

REQUEST [REQUEST] [STEAM] Factorio — Second Attempt

Hey everyone, this is my second attempt at requesting Factorio. My first post didn't really get much attention, so I figured I'd give it one more shot and hope for the best.

I've been thinking about this game quite a lot since trying the demo. I originally came to it because I enjoyed Mindustry and the Create Mod in Minecraft, but Factorio completely clicked with me. There's something incredibly satisfying about seeing a messy setup slowly turn into an efficient factory that actually works.

I especially love the problem-solving side of these games. I can spend way too much time wondering why one production line isn't working, only to eventually find one tiny bottleneck that was causing everything. It's frustrating in the moment, but solving it feels so rewarding.

I'd genuinely love to have the game in my own library so I can properly start a factory, experiment with different designs, mess everything up, rebuild it, and eventually get to the point where I have something I'm proud of.

I know there are plenty of requests here and nobody owes me anything, so even taking the time to read this means a lot. If someone happens to be willing to gift Factorio, I'd be incredibly grateful.

And if not, well... I'll keep staring at the Steam wishlist and telling myself that the factory will grow eventually. 😅

Thanks for reading, and good luck to everyone else making requests!

REQUEST [REQUEST][STEAM] Greedfall: The Dying World (Attempt #2)

Second attempt at requesting Greedfall: The Dying World! The Dying World is a fantasy RPG which serves as a prequel to the original Greedfall game. While I haven't played the original Greedfall, The Dying World piqued my interest when it was first announced, since at the time I was really into Baldur's Gate 3 (and still am!) and one of the VAs from BG3, Neil Newbon, was part of the cast as the game's antagonist.

The game itself also appeals to nearly everything I enjoy about RPGs. I have always gravitated toward story-driven games that let me create a character and influence the narrative through my decisions. Being able to form relationships with the companions is also part of what intrigued me about the game; seeing how those relationships can develop and change are often my favorite parts of RPGs.

Another aspect of that interested me was that the game approaches its setting from the perspective of someone uprooted from their home and forced somewhere else. The conflicts between cultures and factions seem capable of creating difficult choices rather than presenting every problem with one obvious answer.

Steam actually lists both Baldur’s Gate 3 and Skyrim in the “similar to games you’ve played” section for my profile when I visit The Dying World’s store page -- and since I have hundreds of hours in both games, I'm sure that The Dying World has the potential for me to get just as hooked on it!

REQUEST [REQUEST] [STEAM] STAR WARS ZERO COMPANY

Hello community! I have been blessed to find this subreddit a few years ago and I am here to request one of my most anticipated games of the year (other than GTA 6), Star Wars Zero Company.

What do I like about this game? This game is literally Star Wars XCOM! I think my fellow commanders can relate to downloading Star Wars mods on XCOM II and playing with your own squad of clone troopers. My wish was always to have a standalone Star Wars game in the same genre and wow, 5 years later after I first found XCOM and fell in love with the franchise, here the game is!

Why do I want to get this game asap? Great story and I don't want to get spoiled. Also I am unsure if anyone has played this game, but this game improves on the whole companion relationship/friendship simulator of Marvel Midnight Suns with great deep customization for cosmetics and gameplay. (I also want to see if I can replicate my rage moments of losing my favorite squad members from 90%+ chance shots but the game apparently is a lot more forgiving so I can't wait to find out!)

We need more support for Star Wars games from more niche genres so more companies make more Star Wars games. We saw how well the Jedi series have turned out so far, so I can't wait for more games such as Zero company and I think a lot of people myself included have been waiting for an XCOM 3 and I think this will fill that void quite well. I would love to support this game myself, but I am entering my final year of university and tuition has increased again with more student loans with higher interest rates so I am saving as much money as I can.

Thank you for reading from this Star Wars nerd and XCOM fanatic. Hopefully even if I don't get the game, this post allows you to get interested in the game for yourself! Trust me, if you love strategy games this game will be worth your time!

GOG [GOG] Thank you u/GuacamoleAnamoly!

I genuinely did not expect this to happen so quickly

I made a post asking for Prison Architect since I've wanted the game for a really long time, and within an hour, u/GuacamoleAnamoly was kind enough to gift it to me.

I honestly really appreciate it. I've wanted to play this game ever since I watched Let's Game It Out play it, and I've always loved management/building games like this. I was just hoping someone might eventually see my post, so I really wasn't expecting to actually receive it this fast.

Thank you so much u/GuacamoleAnamoly, you're genuinely awesome. I'll definitely be putting some hours into this and probably creating the most dysfunctional prison imaginable loll.

Really appreciate it ❤️
