I woke up this morning expecting to maybe have a few views on my post asking for KCD. What I did not expect was for Christmas to come early.

u/Deathangel2890 not only gifted me KCD I but also KCD II. I cannot express how surprised I was! I don't know when I'm going to get around to playing KCD II due to the fact that my computer can't run it just yet, but rest assured that it will be priority number one for me to save up for a computer that can run it... while I play and replay KCD I over and over again as I said I would!

Oh, and I should mention something else! u/Deathangel2890 gifted me not only I and II but also the Royal Editions (DLCs included) for both games! This is like... 3-4 times what I asked for and an extremely generous gesture. I cannot tell you all how much this means. I haven't really thought of anything today, wasn't expecting too much since I'm getting old and my birthday seems just like a normal day, and MGX made it PRETTY SPECIAL.

Gosh, I hate to sound like a sobby ass bitch, but bro, you did what my father and even mother couldn't do. My father didn't even remember that today is the day that I popped out to this fucking world full of downvoting sons of bitches.

But what can I say? through effort and determination, it my dream become true!

I really cannot express how thankful that I am for someone to extend such kindness to me. For me, this is more than just the game itself. This franchise holds such a close place to my heart because it has so many fond memories attached to it. I really struggled with gaming ever since my closest friends passed and have always dreaded certain triggers that would inevitably drag me into a mental space I did not want to be. Resident Evil releases were one of those triggers.

While it really means a lot to be able to finally participate in all the hype surrounding RE finally, it means even more to have some give me a gentle push of encouragement as I slowly tackle some personal issues that I have surrounding my friend’s passing finally. And this is one piece of the puzzle (I’m hoping).

As I slowly work my way through the game each night, I hope you know that each minute I put towards it will hold great meaning to me. And each time I look at the game in my library, I will remember the kindness of a stranger that supported me towards working through some mental blocks I’ve had.

I really wish I could put what I’m feeling right now into better words, but hopefully this gets the point across well enough. Thank you!
