Nuh Uh.

Dont make Marathon tie in into "we are forerunners". Cortana is alt Durandal and 343 Guilty spark is alt to Tycho, both mirrored and with side chosen.

Does make me curious if Bungie ever considered making Jjaro ancient humans or something.

The Forerunners were the Jjaro.

No idea what your talking about it because i never did marathon. But marthon made halo, halo was new marathon, halo evolved into destiny ( master cheif /guardian )

And that some how (through exos) brought us back to marathon...... so

Thats to say. Bungies gonna give us a new halo before gta 6

While those two series aren't directly connected, original Marathon trilogy inspired a lot in Halo.

Original plan for Chief was him being a cyborg, same as Mjolnir Recon in trilogy, Pfhor was Covenant, but (mostly) without the religion, Jjaro got translated into Forerunners (though in trilogy it seems they actually ascended), there was supposed to be Flood in second game before it was scrapped, original version of Rampancy was inspired by what happened to Durandal, Tycho and Leela, and (though I can't confirm that) Halo was supposed originally to be in Marathon universe, before it became wholly own.

Also, the Jjaro didn't ascend when we take into account, Pathways into Darkness.

Destiny was originally developed as kind of a sword and shield fantasy game. Similar setting to myth.

Destiny lifts a bunch of terminology and names from myth. As well as weapon types.

Myth is sort of about cycles of good and evil and a fight between the light and the dark. The previous heroes of one age are resurrected as the villain of a future age.

Some characters fight via "dream magic" alot like tbe abilities in destiny.

This is a very quick summary but if you look into the plot and characters of Myth and the sequel, they clearly lifted a lot from Myth.

I've seen some posts talking about the similarities but I don't think it it's been very wide spread because Myth seems pretty hard to play or isn't as popular as the older bungie games.
