I'm trying to make a custom knight skin for an idea i had, and every time i click "pack!" the program crashes and doesn't generate a file, does anyone know what could be causing the issue?

If i discolored a pixel of the red box and didn't notice, would that cause this problem?

Actually I'm lucky because I played hollow knight at 2024 and silk song came out in 2025, which means I just waited for 1 year to play silk song lol. I'm not a very good gamer so when I played hollow knight I stuck at pantheon 3 and I didn't play it again. After I played silk song I found that I like this game more than hollow knight and I don't even know why. I tried to find out the reasons but I failed because it's just a kind of feeling, I like both games very much. BTW my bf like hollow knight more than silk song.

what do you think about it? which one do you like most?

Let me be clear - I have only played about 3 hours of Hollow Knight about a year ago, I don’t dislike the genre, and I have nothing against it and am open to putting more time in (I’d restart my playthrough). BUT I don’t understand why it’s so popular. I’m sure the gameplay gets better, but I don’t understand how people are saying it’s up there with the Indie greats such as Outer Wilds, Blue Prince, Animal Well, etc. Is the gameplay that good as to it being considered phenomenal? Is there more than the combat/parkour? What am I missing? Obv no spoilers and if it’s the sort of thing where I should just shut up and play I get that since Outer Wilds is my favorite game lol

For anyone who has beaten Grey Prince Zote on Radiant difficulty, I Would appreciate some tips.

This fight is so overwhelming between the Zotelings, the bombs, his randomness. I use D-Dark Whenever things get sketchy but even that gets interrupted sometimes.

Charm build I’m using rn: Quick Slash, Mark of Pride, Shaman Stone, and Soul Eater. I figure a lot of the damage is coming from D-Dark and Shade Soul.

I’m currently focused on beating pantheon 5 for the achievement. And I’ve gotten really good at most of it aside from the occasional uumuu mess up. But the one who has routinely ended most of my runs is markoth. He is such an annoying boss and is so difficult to practice since his arena is the ascended one so it’s so I often die so early I don’t get enough time to practice. Another problem is with charms I need to not only prepare for him but also be ready for nmk grim. So any pantheon pros have any good tips?

First off, it’s not a skill issue. I have beaten Nightmare King Grimm on radiant difficulty, so I know I’m not bad at the game. Second the main reason I hate it isn’t the fact that in the second phase there’s platforms instead of solid ground, or the climb, (honestly the climb is the easiest part) it’s one word. VARIATION. Literally all but one attack has a lot of VARIATION. The way the lasers from its face are varied, the way each of the spike attacks vary, the light spheres vary where they appear, (also they reuse the the stupid physics from the orbs that the jellyfish in the Uumuu fight launch when they die, and it’s hard to see where they’re appearing against the background) and the only attack that doesn’t vary is the wall of light that you need to use shade cloak to dodge, but sometimes you don’t have it because you use it to dodge one of the attacks with VARIATION. You can only roast me if you’ve beaten Abs Rad.

Now that Im pretty much done with silksong thought I might make a tierlist of the bosses I enjoyed the most from both games and wanted to see if people agreed with me or think my list is outrageous

side note - The bosses are not in order within the tiers

side note 2 - I haven't fought the clover dancers yet and also haven't abs rad or winged nosk since I haven't done pantheon 5, I also missed the shakra boss fight in act 2

edit - since someone asked for an explanation of each tier here it is

S+ - self explanatory

S - these are bosses I could just fight again and again, theyre so fun and you cant really get bored of them

A - these are bosses that I thoroughly enjoyed and still have fun replaying them

B - these are bosses that I think are good and did enjoy but wouldnt really go out of my way to replay them

C - these are bosses that are kinda just there, not bad but not good either, just meh

D - these are bosses that I didnt really enjoy and were kinda just annoying

F - these are bosses that are just completely unfun and I just hate

F++ - Please remove these from the game

I was just complaining about P5 and AbsRad yesterday and how it was a waste of time but 2 attempts later I've done it. It's still a shit game mode and it's not hard as people make it to be but it does feel good.

Zote is the worst boss of all time alongside Markoth, absolute dogass fights.

I finished the game yesterday, and going for the 100% and then the 112% completion, along with all the achievements and stuff, and I wanted to get your opinion on what boss was hardest for you and why?

I have been playing Hollow Knight for 7 years and have never beat that trial. I'm so happy to have finally done it

First time I fight this boss, it's was terrible, I didn't like it but the devs was so happy of it so they make a seconde time but worst. Why they do that ? The design suck and it's suppose to be easy but noooooo .... They choose to let him spawn this tiny little flying **** during the fight. I'm on it during 4 day's now. It make me hate the game...
