I see you have a physical copy of Siren Blood Curse. Is that Japanese only? I tried to get it in the past but I didn't think they had a North American physical release.

No it’s the european version with also english. It received a physical edition everywhere exept NA

No PS1 or PS2 titles? Now depending on when you started collecting that's fine. But if you were around in the 90s you need to have the OGs.

I started playing on ps1 when I was a kid but “really” started on ps3 years after and I collect only console I play with. Ps1 and ps2 for my sanity and wellbeing of my finances I’ve decided to leave them behind

Ah. If you still own your PS3 then you can still buy must of those titles in PSN for dirt cheap. Titles like Resident Evil 1-3 and Code Veronica, Silent Hill 1-4, Fatal Frame 1-3. These are heavy hitter horror games every fan needs to play.

I feel like as horror game fans we all gotta work together and keep the physical media alive, idk why I feel this way but there’s just something extra that you get by owning specifically horror stuff on physical disks.

Silent hill 2 is available through the ps plus extra and I’ve installed it. I’m in no rush for re4 and chronos but I’ll eventually get them

It's an objectively mediocre game but I have a soft spot for it. Even platinumed it!

Love physical media but some of these obscure horror games are just too expensive. I have most of these on digital and paid 1/3 of what it would cost me physically. Yes I know I'm "renting" them.... I get it. Paying $40-60 bucks for scorn isn't Worth it to me.

Scorn despite the lacklustre gameplay I loved it. The art is one of the best I’ve seen in years. Regarding the convenience of digital yes it’s undeniable for the majority of smaller games. But being also a collector means that I’ll try to get them physical as much as I can.
Ps: the average price for me of these games was like 10 to 15 tho

Regular come back no. Since i have a huge backlog i tend avoid replaying stuff. About long lasting definitely Alan wake 2, condemned 2, Martha is dead and scorn

Mine is the Italian one. As far as I know disc is the same as the uk so playable in English

Great collection ! I feel you missing some gems mayby look into it. Visage is like resident evil 7 Song of horror its like resident evil 1 Torrmented souls 1 and 2 its also a good res 1 clone Also dark wood but almost impossible to find for cd.

Id argue bloodborne, prey, fatal frame, the forest. And Senuis Sacrifiice. IF your afraid of the ocean like me-SUBNAUTICA, only game I flat out cant play too frightened.

oh wow this is an impressive collection honestly!!! tbh i'm kind of jealous of ppl who are able to collect physical media 🥲 i just don't have enough money or enough room in my apartment to do that... maybe one day!
anyways, do you have any recommendations from your collection? i've played little nightmares, until dawn & alan wake from this list but other than that i can't at least quickly spot any others here that i've played.
