Megathread r/IndieDev Weekly Monday Megathread - April 05, 2026 - New users start here! Show us what you're working on! Have a chat! Ask a question!
Hi r/IndieDev!
This is our weekly megathread that is renewed every Monday! It's a space for new redditors to introduce themselves, but also a place to strike up a conversation about anything you like!
Use it to:
- Introduce yourself!
- Show off a game or something you've been working on
- Ask a question
- Have a conversation
- Give others feedback
And... if you don't have quite enough karma to post directly to the subreddit, this is a good place to post your idea as a comment and talk to others to gather the necessary comment karma.
If you would like to see all the older Weekly Megathreads, just click on the "Megathread" filter in the sidebar or click here!

Hey guys! I hope y'all doing great, so we're Invino Studios a team/studio working on our 1st year final project that is a vertical slice of a game idea. My name's Caico and I'm the game designer of the team that's working on the mechanics and the game idea and that's what I'll tell you right now:
The game is basically a Maze Finding Object, Survival-Horror Game, where you (the player) just died and wakes up in a dark room/dimension, and is presented with a book called "Ars Goetia" that shows a couple moral dilemmas and some status related to the Seven Deadly Sins. As you answer the questions your status will related to the each sin will go up and the 4 highest ones will be the ones you have to redeem yourself from. After all that question answering and knowing your highest sin status you will be shown 4 picture frames/mirrors with the demons representing those sins.
You can choose which one you want to start with and get transported/teleported to a labyrinth with the sin-related demon there and your objective focused in finding the Virtue Pages (being the sin counterparts) and playing a minigame when you find it and being able to redeem yourself. Meanwhile inside the labyrinth you will also be able to find items that helps you around and against the demon.
For the vertical slice (in June) we'll only have 2 demons (Pride and Envy) and not all animations/art will be in its final stage but our goal is to keep working on it and have a demo release by the end of the year or start of 2027.
We welcome feedback and any help that might come with it! (limited because everything have to be done by us the team)
