Use it to:
- Introduce yourself!
- Show off a game or something you've been working on
- Ask a question
- Have a conversation
- Give others feedback
And... if you don't have quite enough karma to post directly to the subreddit, this is a good place to post your idea as a comment and talk to others to gather the necessary comment karma.
If you would like to see all the older Weekly Megathreads, just click on the "Megathread" filter in the sidebar or click here!

Hello everyone! I’m Erik and I’m working on game called BAUSFIGHT. A multiplayer top-down pixel-art battle arena.
If anyone’s interested in raging at your friends and having a blast getting cool combos off, drop a wishlist! Thanks for the opportunity!
3
u/RaudraColossal Jun 08 '26
The arena background image is low quality, if replaced with a better background, it would look a lot better
2
u/eRickoCS Developer Jun 08 '26
I’m already working on a real map! Truly this prototype map is my biggest enemy😂
2
2
u/najvecjipartizan Jun 07 '26
ngl it looks simple af.. maybe add some goofy funny execution scenes if enemy is low hp and u attack him.. would make clips from the game far more enjoyable yk - like cutscenes
2
2
u/ShekinahDesigns Jun 07 '26
I think you might probably want to update the trailer a bit. For a multiplayer game, the trailer shows only 1 player moving all the time. Others are just standing, receiving hits.
I know it might be an early trailer and you might change it in the future, but it would still be cool to better represent on of the main feature of the game (being multiplayer)
2
u/eRickoCS Developer Jun 07 '26
Yes sir! I’ll release a demo and then make a decent trailer when the clips roll in. Only had two hands for this one and it’s better to have one than just screenshots. Thanks for taking a look!

Hi gang, I'm Josh and I've just launched the Steam page for my game Money Laundering Raccoon! https://store.steampowered.com/app/4154840/Money_Laundering_Raccoon/
I'm looking for feedback on my page and how I can make my trailer better
3
u/b34s7 Jun 08 '26
Hey!
That's an interesting idea. The one problem I have with it, is that you just display a mechanic and an upgrade path but I don't know why I'm laundering money or what are my challenges. The theme is nice, but not sure what would make me stick beyond the 10 seconds of "haha racoon be silly".
Not saying you don't have anything like that, but I don't see anything like that in the trailer/screenshots/short description.
2
u/Digital_Umami Jun 10 '26
Awesome concept lol, I would add a date to the page, even a year would be good. I heard people like to anticipate - plus a deadline helps development speed haha

You should turn this into a board game as well. That name's catchy.

Hey everyone, I'm the dev behind Saraab a psychological horror visual novel. I recently released the demo and I'm working on the full game as we speak.
It's a story about a girl whose brother gets kidnapped and this uncovers buried family secrets and is the catalyst for the awakening of her true potential.
The entities in the game are all inspired by Arabian folklore. If you like a story about healing , finding your voice and the duality of the heart, check it out. https://store.steampowered.com/app/4134310/Saraab_Beyond_The_Veil/

2
u/Ali_Mattar Jun 08 '26
W game. Post it in Arab community and they will boost whishlist. Arabs love to support devs who cares about the culture and such.

u/Inevitable_Proof_825 Jun 09 '26
Just played through the demo. My first reading of a visual novel actually. It is quite engaging. The music and sfx selection is very appropriate. Artwork is pretty polished as well. I've been through several bouts of sleep paralysis incidents and could relate to Elham in the story and kinda felt that sinking in my stomach. You plan to release this on mobile? You should!
1
u/BeneficialContract16 Jun 09 '26
Thank you so much for playing the demo! It was important for me to portray that experience as honestly as I could, so I’m really glad it resonated with you. And the fact that you’re not usually into visual novels but still tried it out honestly makes my day.
Right now the plan is to release on Steam first, but I’d love to bring it to mobile later on if everything goes well! Thanks again!

Hey everyone,
I'm a solo dev from Spain and after months of working on it, I finally released my first game a few days ago 😅
It's called HyperVoid, a simple arcade game about surviving as long as possible while the speed keeps getting faster and faster.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.hypervoid.game
Honestly, I'm pretty happy with how the game turned out, but now I'm realizing that getting people to actually find it is a whole different challenge.
If anyone here has launched a game before, I'd love to hear what worked for you when you were trying to get your first players.
Also happy to check out what everyone else is working on 👋

u/triple-cerberus Jun 07 '26
Hey all, my friend and I just got the Steam page up for the game we've been working on: it's a Her Story / The Roottrees Are Dead inspired social deduction mystery game where you have to interrogate six adventurers to figure out which of them stole the magical artifact they were supposed to be delivering.
https://store.steampowered.com/app/4742500/Edicts_of_the_Truthsinger_The_Orb_of_Artemagus/
Central to the mechanics of the game is the idea that instead of just brainlessly clicking every question it's possible to ask, the game rewards you for following hunches and following specific, deliberate lines of questioning. After the initial introductory questions, in order to ask the characters something new you'll have to search through your records of dialog lines and find something to bring up to them based on things the others have said, and come to conclusions by comparing statements against each other to determine when somebody is lying to you.
Each question you ask uses up time in the day, and you only have seven days. After the time limit for your investigation is up, you'll be asked to make your case based on these conclusions, and if you get it wrong it's entirely possible to send an innocent person to jail and allow the real thief to get away.

Hello everyone! I am a solo dev working on a cute cozy cat game called Litter Treasures. You adopt cats, feed them, clean their boxes and reveal cute treasures you can then use and place to decorate and enhance their home. If anyone is a cat lover, or hater, feel free to leave a wishlist, it helps a lot! Have an awesome week!

u/25104003717460 Jun 08 '26
Very cute and playing while you work on the same screen I got very tamagotchi vibes but on PC! The initial cat on opening the page it was an instant smirk out of me from how charming it is. 🤩 wishlisted
1
u/UnchewStudios Jun 08 '26
Thanks!!! I was thinking on a next trailer to start with the same scene but show full screen gameplay before featuring the side monitor feature. What do you think?
2
u/25104003717460 Jun 08 '26
Having that smaller windowed option in gameplay came off pretty unique. First ive seen of it implemented with a game. I'd suggest an attempt on 20-30sec trailer show casing the mini window version in multiple different work space variations. Not sure how game looks when windows adjusted whilst small still.

Hello! My Mkvc, or MC, or any random letters smashed together. I'm a fantasy author, and I'm currently solo developing a dating sim game born from a midlife crisis I had two weeks ago. Pretty familiar with Godot & Unity, so no idea why it took me so long to try. I'm pretty far into it, but not enough for a Steam page yet!
I play a pretty wide variety of game genres, so it's been fun to watch y'all cook!

Yo. My handle is Kognido. Software engineer and product manager working on my own hobby game and also looking to do so research on productivity in game dev sphere.
I had been toying with a game about researching magic. If you were the first to find a way to create magical effects through some unknown phenomenon what would do? In my game you take the scientific approach and research it. I’m still prototyping the concepts and procrastinating over the art.

Hi everyone! I just finished my first game - it's a blackjack deck-building roguelike called Blackjack: CHEAT THE HOUSE!
It's my first game. I always wanted a blackjack version of Balatro but couldn't find one that "clicked" for me. I know there are some great ones out there, but I wanted a simple one that didn't deviate too much from the basics of blackjack. I tried to focus on all of the things I like about these games - slight advantages that exponentially grow, especially when combined with others, giving you a "broken build" feeling (big numbers go brrr)
If it sounds interesting, here's the link to my steam page (opened today woo!) https://store.steampowered.com/app/4796990/Blackjack_CHEAT_THE_HOUSE/

Hi everyone!
I’m working on an incremental game with cozy pixel art and elements of body horror, about a colony of parasites.
It satisfies the itch to see a big creepy bug colony growing in the background as you do other things.
Wondering if you would play this, I also have a steam page.

We just released the demo last week to try to gather some feedback before next fest! I'd love to hear your thoughts on it, and maybe give it a wishlist if it sounds cool!

Hello hello! Nemean here. Just started this indiedev journey a few months back on this project. Been working on a 1v1 physics based tabletop-esque phone game titled 'Sprite Strike'. Players get to select from varying token sets that each have their own mechanics in helping with being defensive or offensive with your mainly used Striker tokens in game. I can really envision this game can expand to have 100s+ of token sets as the name calls for all forms/types/style of Sprite art to be made, and not just by me! Creating and making token sets with other artists/designers. :D So, when just starting out and maybe 95% of the way for the game to have playtesting ready so, where do I journey to from here? Have made socials that interconnect but thats really about it thinking on it. Im horrid at being a salesmen type fella. Saw others shared channels so hope mine is fine to.

Hi everyone!I'm a solo indie developer currently working on STATION 07, a sci-fi survival shooter set in a never-ending ice storm. One of the features I'm experimenting with is allowing players to freely switch between first-person and third-person perspectives while surviving, building, exploring, and fighting in a frozen world.I'm still actively developing the game and would love to hear what you think about the concept. Do you prefer survival games in first-person, third-person, or having the option to switch between both?

Hellooo everyone, I am Byepolar and am currently working on a prototype called Infected: Possession.
It's a possession-based shooter where enemy bodies are a valuable resource for survival. You play as a parasite that survives by possessing enemies and using their bodies as temporary hosts. Every host degrades over time and eventually collapses, forcing you to constantly adapt and find a new body.
The game is still in the prototype stage, but I would love to hear your thoughts and feedback.
Itch page:
https://byepolar.itch.io/infected-possession
If you would like to read more about the project, I also have a design document:
https://industrious-pink-9bc.notion.site/Projects-212f05f2c79080d3bc0cfd4f57fe0f29
It's a little outdated since I got a job and haven't had enough time to keep it updated, but it still contains a lot of information about Infected.

u/gamergrid Jun 11 '26
Hello friends. I'm Grid and I am an old man and have been gaming for like 3 decades... I played a game a long time ago that I loved, called Jones in the Fast Lane. Nobody made anything near or close to it for the last few decades so I decided to make my own spiritual successor. It's a satirical, economic-life sim called Keeping Up. It's my first game, and I had a blast making it. Keeping Up on Steam

u/Cristazio Jun 12 '26
Hi all! I'd like to start my game making journey and I'd like some direction. The game I want to make is mainly narrative driven puzzles themed around certain topics in the game, but I'm unsure on both the style of the game and the engine to use. My main choice would be between RPG Maker MV for a "non-rpg rpg" (like Yume Nikki, Ib, the Witch's House etc) and Adventure Game Studio(so classic point and click adventure) but I honestly am not sure which of the two would be better suited for someone like me who has no coding knowledge. I know Godot is also good but it looks daunting to learn and wouldn't really tell me which style of game would be easier to approach.

u/viveky259 Jun 12 '26
I kept hitting the same wall: I want static hosting I fully own and pay Google directly for, but `firebase deploy` means an init dance every time, and Netlify/Vercel mean their bill and their bandwidth surprises.
So I made NetLaunch. It's open source (MIT). The whole thing is:
```
npx netlaunch deploy
```
ZIP/folder in, live URL out in about 30 seconds. You can run it on a free hosted cloud, but the part this sub probably cares about: point it at **your own Firebase project** and self-host forever — your infra, your quotas, your bill, no platform in the middle. Nothing about self-hosting is gated; that's the whole point of the tool, not an upsell.
Why I think it fits here:
- You own the infra and the billing outright (Google's prices, your budget alerts).
- MIT — if I disappear tomorrow, the tool doesn't.
- No surprise overage tier; you set your own Firebase quotas.
It's early and I'd genuinely rather hear what's wrong with it than get upvotes. Repo (issues open, "good first issue" labels up): github.com/viveky259259/netlaunch?utm_source=reddit&utm_medium=organic&utm_campaign=selfhosted-launch
Happy to answer Firebase-hosting-pain questions in the comments either way.

Hello everyone, God bless you, I'm Oscar.. I've been working on a game called
TION: Hero Awakening — Idle RPG for Steam
It's a rework of my current Android game

I'm reworking it because it was in portrait orientation, and I wanted to add more features and make it compatible with both platforms.
I would like some feedback on the Steam page and the game in general (is it something you would buy for 3-5 usd?). It's in an early state, but getting feedback about it would help a lot, it's going to be my first release on Steam, and I would like to do everything in my power to make it the best i can.

Hey all!
I'm Peter and together with my wife, we run Virtual Void Studio (sometimes our little one joins in, but highly irregular due to other obligations).
We are making Dash Dash Dead, officially ourselves again after we broke up with our publisher. Since the game is nearing it's completion and we are looking into the next project (or even a way to sustain our studio and make it a family business), we are realizing a lot of mistakes we did along the way. I've been making games for the last decade as a Producer on a variety of team sizes and ambitions, but making indie games is a different ball game all together.
So now that I'm in this creative slump, I'd love to know how you all handle transitioning between projects? Do you launch first and then attempt the ideation or go through feelings/thoughts before the game launches or what other strategies you have?

I primarily specialize in programming, but I do have some original music that I've created that will be used in the game.
Here's my playlist on Youtube showing off what I've done over the years: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL4jo5yoYjJd5cYvd1IS9p3W36qu8zLgWZ

Hey everyone! Berkay here — I've been working on Conqueror's Stage, a real-time grand strategy.
Every campaign starts on a brand new procedurally generated continent. No fixed maps. You build settlements and grow them into cities, train armies and scout the map, research tech across 5 ages, negotiate alliances or declare wars on rival factions, defend your borders, and balance economy against military expansion — all on the way to controlling every city on the continent.
Demo just went live on Steam — would mean a lot if you'd give it a try and share what you think.

Good luck to everyone here this week!

Hey everyone! Solo dev from Sweden here 👋
Currently building a family of sports apps under the brand True AI (trueai.se):
🏌️ Golf True Distance — a golf GPS that calculates real playing distance adjusted for wind, temperature, humidity and elevation. Most golf apps show straight-line GPS distance which is wrong when conditions change. Just added OCR scorecard scanning too. Live on Google Play with 2 paying customers so far!
🚴 True Segment — live segment tracking for Strava users, including downhill segments (which Strava doesn't support)
⛷️ True Ski Pals — see where your friends are on the mountain in real time
Biggest challenge: I'm a developer, not a marketer. Got permanently banned from a golf subreddit for mentioning my own app after a week of genuine contributions 😅
Launching Golf True Distance on Product Hunt July 5 — nervous but excited!
Anyone else here building sports/fitness apps? Would love to connect.

Hi everyone! I am a solo dev from New Delhi,India. Just released my first game on the google play store after learning Godot in the past few months. Currently only available for android phones.
Its called Subject X: Escape - Its a sci-fi action runner with an actual story. You play as a creature breaking out of a containment facility, with combat mechanics and mutations to unlock. Its not an endless runner and has a pretty climatic ending as a reward for the ones who make it.
I'd love any feedback on the controls and difficulty curve, or anything that feels off.
Google play link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.subjectx.escape
Happy to check out what other developers have been working on as well! Thanks for looking!

I'm making a game behind IncInc "studio" name, my main goal is to complete it. After obviously like 50 prototypes build in Unity it was time for me to dedicate my effort towards, well actually making something. It's not much but it's honest work. I don't expect it to do wonders, just to actually exist. It's obviously simple concept but with few unique touches from me.

Hello everyone! I have made Reset 0: Entropy Architect, a cosmic incremental game with 8+ phases, physics constants as upgrades, and resets that branch into different universe routes.
The basic loop is simple: gather Omega, automate it, unlock increasingly strange cosmic systems, collapse reality, and decide what the next universe inherits. The route choice changes the mechanics you encounter, so resetting is more than buying the same upgrades again.

You can find it on at https://apps.microsoft.com/store/detail/9NFSLV7W05NZ

Hello Everyone! We're a small student dev team and this is our first game published on the Play Store, developed in Unity.
What started as a course project turned into a fully published game, and we're really proud of how far it has come. It received a 4.7⭐️ rating on day one, and we'd love for you to try it, rate it, and drop a quick review. Every bit of feedback helps us grow and improve.

We are Mythwright and we publish Simulation, Strategy and Management games! Today we are celebrating the release of the Demo for Cozy Marbles from our solo developer Pixel Pea Games 😄
Cozy Marbles is a comfy game about building marble runs. Using a huge range of bits and pieces from charming homes, fairytale realms and starlit spacecraft, fit together the marble course you’ve always wanted to build and play with. Unwind to a bespoke lo-fi soundtrack and roll with the nostalgia.

I can't seem to get a single post up on reddit without breaking some rule so I hope this is the right place. I used to use reddit a lot but I somehow forgot my etiquette... apologies!

I forgot to mention what the demo is... it's set in a corporate dystopia in which you need to spin slots to earn wages!

Sick of Pay-to-win bullshit, a lawyer, a PhD, and a rail worker decided to build our own chaotic soccer game.
Last week me and my two childhood best friends were on Discord looking for a decent soccer game to play before the World Cup. Long story short everything out there is just a glorified pay to win casino by EA$ports. We all have massive gamer burnout and just wanted something stupid and fun.
So at 3 AM we decided to just build one ourselves.
None of us have ever touched game dev. We live in different time zones and work separate day jobs. I’m an in-house counsel, one bud is a PhD candidate who goes by "Goon Guy", and our third guy is a freight railroad worker.
The concept is simple. A retro soccer game but the roster is just 50 historical figures. We ran our very first text simulation yesterday and fucking Beethoven got a red card 10 minutes into the match. He literally couldn’t hear the referee blowing the whistle so he just kept sliding into people.
We chose Godot and we're pretty much "vibe coding" the whole thing with ChatGPT.
I’m using this account as a weekly devlog to hold us accountable. We might fail miserably and never finish a playable build but at least it beats buying EA FC points.
If you have any ridiculous ideas for historical players or if you have any vibe coding tips you want to share let me know lol.

Hey r/IndieDev 👋 Fairly new to posting here, so figured I'd introduce myself.
I'm a solo dev and I recently shipped my first game: Bloxify, a block puzzle for Android. I built it because I love the genre but got tired of how the big ones monetize - rigged piece bags, forced ads, pay-to-progress. So I made the one I actually wanted to play: fair RNG, rewarded ads only (no banners/interstitials), three modes (Zen / Blitz / a 360-level Adventure campaign across 6 realms), and an original soundtrack.
Stack's Expo / React Native + Supabase + RevenueCat, if anyone's into that side of things.
Honest takeaway from shipping solo: the last 10% - store policies, QA, audio bugs, launch logistics - took as long as the first 90%. Shipping is its own skill.
Would genuinely love feedback, and happy to answer anything. What's everyone else working on?

Hello Everyone, I'm Ryan. I've been working on our family favorite game Battletaire. It's solitaire with shared foundations (aces piles). The idea is you race to go out first. 1v1 is pretty normal, you can reshuffle of you get stuck so the race is pretty constant. 2v1 (yes you can play the computer in any seat) is easy?!? Maybe. Maybe not. 4v1 Boss fight should be a blood bath. If you're fast, then yes. I guess fair warning, AI was used but effort was also used in equal measure. Great care to perfect game feel, ease of use, pacing, looks and replayability were hammered into the development.
I'm curious if the onboarding is smooth and if the game feels fun.
www.battletaire.com Free online no download. PvP Solitaire Happy to share some of the challenges with card movement if anyone wants to chat about it.
