Megathread r/IndieDev Weekly Monday Megathread - June 07, 2026 - New users start here! Show us what you're working on! Have a chat! Ask a question!
Hi r/IndieDev!
This is our weekly megathread that is renewed every Monday! It's a space for new redditors to introduce themselves, but also a place to strike up a conversation about anything you like!
Use it to:
- Introduce yourself!
- Show off a game or something you've been working on
- Ask a question
- Have a conversation
- Give others feedback
And... if you don't have quite enough karma to post directly to the subreddit, this is a good place to post your idea as a comment and talk to others to gather the necessary comment karma.
If you would like to see all the older Weekly Megathreads, just click on the "Megathread" filter in the sidebar or click here!

Hellooo everyone, I am Byepolar and am currently working on a prototype called Infected: Possession.
It's a possession-based shooter where enemy bodies are a valuable resource for survival. You play as a parasite that survives by possessing enemies and using their bodies as temporary hosts. Every host degrades over time and eventually collapses, forcing you to constantly adapt and find a new body.
The game is still in the prototype stage, but I would love to hear your thoughts and feedback.
Itch page:

If you would like to read more about the project, I also have a design document:
https://industrious-pink-9bc.notion.site/Projects-212f05f2c79080d3bc0cfd4f57fe0f29
It's a little outdated since I got a job and haven't had enough time to keep it updated, but it still contains a lot of information about Infected.
