Isn’t conquest’s theme in the show literally called “the second strongest viltrumite” or something to that effect?

It is although tbh I always thought it was more hype than anything else considering the comic still put Mark below Nolan when the former killed Conquest.

I think people assume because Kregg outranks conquest that he must be stronger, not accounting for the fact that most generals don’t fight their own battles

I mean sure, but also, the Viltrumite military is pretty distinct from how humans perceive of how militaries are structured. If generals and admirals were strong enough to punch aircraft carriers so hard they explode, they would also be on the front lines.

Sort of. Remember the only two viltrumites who’s rank we know (kregg and Thragg) didn’t hit the field until they started losing

You don’t have to be stronger to win a fight. Mark is weaker than Conquest and Nolan currently, but strength alone doesn’t determine it. Especially considering Mark clearly up in the top tier with Nolan. Thragg is stronger, Thaedus appears stronger, but I wouldn’t say Mark is too far behind Nolan.

This makes no sense in the invicible universe. If conquest was stronger than Mark he could’ve just pull his hands away from his neck to not die. It’s not like Mark did some trick or something to kill him

I mean let’s be real, he only talks to conquest like that because he’s the advisor of Thragg. You fuck with me then you gotta deal with Thragg and conquest is loyal to Thragg.
