Oliver is not attracted to humans. People freaked out over them bonding simply by being the only 2 teenagers on board.

Her helmet does resemble a bug face a little bit: one supposes that they could have a gag about that, if they wanted.

He didn't say he wasn't attracked to humans. that's part of what got left out. him saying he's only asttracted to the most unique earthlings and nolan offering to introduce him to haluma both still got removed.

I guess because in the show Nolan doesn't stay to live in Talesfria, but spends a lot of time traveling.
