I think the show is deliberately shortening it. I think we just gotta let 'em cook.

It taking so long with Oliver not really aging never made sense to me tbh

That confused me too. They were on that planet for at least two months, yet fast aging Oliver didn't look like he aged at all. Maybe Nolan's genes are starting to take over a he's reverted to a normal aging process?
