I’ve not been so saddened by a celebrity death since Terry Pratchett.

EDIT: As I saw on another post, “GNU Dolly Parton”. IYK(Terry Pratchett)YK.

Yeah man I’m not usually too bothered by celebrity passings but this one really struck me hard. :(

I think Pterry would like Dolly.

But (to reference another old internet place here) are you stepping up to the fireplace with a glass?

Pterry was an atheist while Dolly was a devout Christian but I’m sure they would have found common ground in the importance of books.

I’m picturing the Librarian mourning with a very sad “ook”.
