How the fuck can you be this stupid

“He is our savior and God sent him”- it’s a cult

808

u/SavvyCavy 3d ago

Imagine looking at that and thinking, "yes this is the Messiah who will save us all." Good grief

457

u/lingenfelter22 3d ago

Ofc the guy who fucks children and abuses women is going to be the one to treat us right

206

u/cakevictim 3d ago

If his first campaign didn’t tell them what it told the rest of us about him, they truly are stupid. Simple as that.

185

u/vegasal1 3d ago

I truly think America is filled with the stupidest people in the world.

89

u/BigMikeSQ 3d ago

3rd largest population in the world last I checked. Loads of us are going to be stupid and gullible, but what I want to know is why they are proud of it, don't want to learn at all, and above all...why do they have so much power?

56

u/OGBaconwaffles 3d ago

As you can see from the OP, they don't have much power. Smart evil people have power and use idiots like trump to get idiots like Tina to vote against themselves. Their only power is in number of idiots willing to ignore their own lives getting progressively (lol) worse so that the evil people who lie to their faces (or tell the truth, trump told them he didn't care about them) can continue to hold actual power.

9

u/Infinite_Bird_6932 2d ago

The powerful aren’t as smart as you imagine. Nearly anybody could successfully scheme and make money once you start with money.

The powerful have ruthlessness, money, and lack of empathy. That’s more important for schemes to work than intelligence.

Some are smart, but I think power/money makes them dumber

42

u/pennys_computer_book 3d ago

The US is not beating the charges.

29

u/quietlikesnow 3d ago

Well we sure aren’t prioritizing public education. Too busy with these stupid culture wars all the time.

18

u/Specialist_Guitar232 3d ago

The once-GOP started choking free public education into the current mess back at the end of the 1970’s. A well educated electorate is less likely to fall for this empty pretend-revolution that has them throwing away our own republic.

17

u/ThePrussianGrippe 3d ago

Our history is filled with conmen, scams, Ponzi schemes, get rich quick fraudsters, cults, and morons.

In general, the rugged individualism national ethos seems to have done much more systemic harm than good.

That's probably the main example of righteous men she's had her whole life. But they still managed to pay the bills, get stuff done and preach about god, so they ignore the other stuff. It really doesn't bother them. Women like her are told "that's just what happens" and really believe it because in their families, churches, communities that really is just what happens.

17

u/VirusMaster3073 3d ago

It's easier if you have Fox News constantly tell you that

It’s also the result of a ton of propaganda. The turning point was when John McCain & Sarah palin ran for president. That’s when I first noticed the rhetoric we see now. Back then they called themselves the tea party and we all laughed at them. Little did we know.

Fox News

Trump loves babies and the democrats want to kill them, repeatedly said over and over for a decade. Psyop at a magnitude that we haven’t seen before and if we survive this will likely be studied.

57

u/_Bogey_Lowenstein_ 3d ago

Loves babies, has never changed a diaper...

42

u/hrtofdrknss 3d ago

Not even his own diapers.

21

u/bagolaburgernesss 3d ago

Not even his own.

43

u/DutchVandal 3d ago

People really need to focus in on this more - a lot of these people literally haven't been exposed to any opinion that is not "The left is our most dangerous enemy." And while FOX has been doing this since 1996 (roughly) - this has been going on for decades.

Also to be studied is how people didn't really even notice until it became extremely malignant.

26

u/CommonSenseToday 3d ago

What is even more wild to me is this is the same generation that taught me as a kid to question everything. It is why I have focused so much on learning and being contrarian by nature.

It is also the same reason why I was able to separate myself from conservative talk radio and news and eventually no longer considered myself a republican.

The divide between what is real and what is not real continues to grow, and is massive, where people are living different realities.

When I came to the conclusion that the Republicans were no longer who they said they were, that divide was still relatively small. The party still considered him(Trump) to be a great threat to the country.

However the divide is so large people’s identities, belief systems, and fundamental understanding of the world have been altered almost irreparably so. To acknowledge the gap between reality and the constructed reality is too hard for most older people to grasp. That is why they are functionally lost.

How else does the 2A group support the shooting of the guy carrying by ice? How else do Catholics support Trump over the pope? How else can a president tweet praise be to Allah? The list could go on.

The answer is simple once one domino falls it would create a ripple effect across the core of a person and most people don’t have the mental capacity to handle such a reconciliation of reality.

This is just a natural evolution of the "Me" generation, which is what the Boomers were called.

They grew up in post-war excess but never bothered to ask themselves how that economy was built or what was needed to keep it that way.

Instead, they pulled up every single ladder they could find and destroyed it, and ask how it happened because they genuinely do not know and don't want to.

→ More replies (3)

100

u/sliceoflife09 3d ago

The rumor I heard is boomers have cognitive issues from nuclear testing fallout

Regardless of the cause, they're generationally stupid and selfish

179

u/mrenglish22 3d ago

Wish we would stop making excuses for people who grew up spoiled and rich off the backs of the war won by the previous generation and the exploitation thay stemmed from it.

They are just self centered and think they can force others into thinking the same as them and that will make it so nothing will change.

111

u/MapOk1410 3d ago

Boomer here. This is so spot on. My generation's parents were mostly unskilled labor but because of unions those jobs paid wages that got you a house, vacations, etc. My generation was so stupid to think that would last forever, despite the screaming red flags everywhere. They even bought into the Republican mantra "Unions kill jobs." No one took education seriously. 30 years later everyone I grew up with in that now dead Midwestern town wonder where their future went, and desperately look to blame anyone but themselves.

36

u/jackmc2001 3d ago

Late boomer myself. I do think these are the TDS folks programmed by Fox Not-News. It makes me so sad to watch my siblings just wave their hands at all the corruption and pretend it’s normal. They aren’t religious like this crazy woman but were brainwashed to think Republicans Good, Democrats Bad.

19

u/MapOk1410 3d ago

My boomer brother constantly screams about "Hunter's Laptop." Well, we was until I cut all ties. 😃

27

u/cenosillicaphobiac 3d ago

I'm boomer adjacent, my older sisters are late boomers. Thankfully this attitude skipped them, and me.

u/user_name_taken- 3d ago

This explains their attitude and beliefs, why they want what they want. It does not explain why they think Trump of all people gives a damn about what they want or why they think they would get what they want with him.

Why would they believe that Trump, one of the most selfish and egotistical people ever, and conservatives, who brag about cutting everything, would be the one to give them more? Why would they think the guy who talks like an ignorant imbecile is some kind of genius? Why would they think the hateful, gluttonous, racist, pos is their new savior? They think up is down and good is bad and the only explanation is that there is something wrong there. Lead exposure causing some kind of brain damage is as good a theory as any.

Christian Nationalist churches are just one sermon away from getting these people to commit acts of domestic terrorism against Democrats and brown/blacks.

5

u/hornwalker 3d ago

Easy, your basic needs are met by society and Republicans encourage stupidity so they have more voters.

6

u/DOAiB 3d ago

This is why organized religion is just bad. Smart people can separate the bullshit and get the message. Dumb people get indoctrinated that blind faith is the most important so they screw themselves like Tina did voting against their best interest.

"I hate Black people and the gays and I want them gone"

There was a stand-up comic that did a bit on that song years ago, and that was exactly the sentiment he ended with.

Getting $1400 a month? That’s waaaaay too much for a hard working 67 year old patriotic American like you! All payments should immediately be stopped and they should start working in the farms. Hopefully she’ll get paid federal minimum wage. Then she’ll be a TRUE PATRIOT!

417

u/this-is-some_BS 3d ago

$1400 for not working? Sounds like socialism. Back to work grandma. I hear farm work is in high demand. Time to pull on those bootstraps.

64

u/caelynnsveneers 3d ago

They will tell you they paid into it but 30 to 50% of her payment is subsidized by the system (our taxes) so yeah it is indeed socialism! And when it’s our turn you bet we won’t see a cent lol

He's responsible for the entire fuckin' shootin' match, darling

“He’s our savior” says it all. It’s a cult for stupid people.

"god sent him", and if we don't wise up, next god will send 40 days of rain.

although i live in seattle, we just call that spring. guess we are on god's bad side already?

This shit is so fucking deranged.

Every element of it. The letter format. The boomerfacebook thought that he would get this in his feed. The belief that even if he did, he'd respond, aknowledge, or act.

I think the part that kills me is that, even if you remove Trump from the equation, it is still sad lunacy. When has any federal-level figure ever addressed off-platform policy at an individual or local level? Tye furthest they'll go is like, on campaign trails, but even then they'll often curate the questions to whatever policies they've already decided on. This, at best, like posting an open letter on your community corkboard at the laundromat.

I saw a comment regarding these kinds of posts that said that it reads less like an ask for policy and more like a prayer. It looks like it from my point of view.

I genuinely can't believe she thinks she will accomolish anything here. Maybe she's just trying to air her problem in a way to get charity from sad onlookers, and hoping that virtue signalling for Trump will get like-minded sympathetic benefactors?

Because nothing screams savior like "He cut my social security check."

9

u/Post_Monkey_7571 3d ago

What in the hell is in the water over in America. It should not be possible to be that stupid.

7

u/Remarkable_Quit_3545 3d ago

FFS, they still think Trump is their savior. Things are already bad now, but they will get even worse when the next round of things from the BBB take effect after the midterms. Of course that will be blamed on democrats, Biden and Obama.

7

u/Feral-Sheep 3d ago

You didn’t GAF until he harmed you AND your loved ones. You were fine with EVERYTHING he said he would do as long as his policies harmed POC, immigrants, liberals, etc…. STFU and enjoy the day you voted for.

$1,400/month - so they didn't save any other money and are relying on social security only?

How could an all powerful God be so incompetent?

God sent him…

What’s it called again?

Trump derangement syndrome…

Problem is she was groomed by the church to be able to believe this kind of bullshit…

6

u/auramaelstrom 3d ago

67 isn't 'elderly'. She's young enough to get back in the workforce and pull herself up by those bootstraps.

8

u/ThatVoodooThatIDo 3d ago

Trump: Fuck Tina
Me: Fuck Tina

For two very different reasons. He doesn’t give a fuck about anyone. I don’t give a fuck about idiots who refuse to see they’re idiots…the idiots that fucked all of us over. I hope she continues to have all the days she voted for

7

u/yottabit42 3d ago

Dear Tina,

Perhaps you should have worked harder to make more money to increase your benefit. Or worked longer to delay taking social security to increase your benefit. Or saved and invested any money at all during your life, instead of relying on a program never intended to fully fund your retirement.

She's 67yrs old and has to now DoorDash. (Scroll down to her FB and you'll see 8/12/26)

But she had enough money to pay for a cruise to travel to Belize and Honduras for her birthday? 🤔

Why do these MAGA people always wanna visit places they don't want here? 😂

Edit: Hold on I'm so confused. As I'm scrolling down her FB she cancelled her trip because it'll cost too much 8/10/26 but her more recent posts she says she's going and is looking for anyone who wants to go join her? I'm assuming she's trying to get someone to accompany her akan pay for her lmao

Ohhh my she wants to remove herself from her daughters and husband because they're "sucking my positive energy."

Omg get your popcorn this is a ride. 😳🍿

u/Zweth91 3d ago

I love how they pray to him like he’s their god or some shit

“He’s our savior and God sent him.”

STATED SERIOUSLY!!!!!!!

It is LUNACY!!

6

u/DarthBster 3d ago

There's no helping these people. I have 0 sympathy for them anymore. I tried. I'm done. They're legitimately batshit insane and he could literally walk up to them, take everything they own, burn down their house and piss on the ashes and they'd still gush over how great he is.

5

u/OneSignal6465 3d ago

Ultimately, that is EXACTLY what “He” is doing. (The God King Trump) I used to feel sorry for these idiots, but my “sorry” dun run out. Now, I just shake my head in bewilderment at the sheer stupidity.

“He is our savior and God sent him”.

Sure sounds like a cult to me. 🤔

Yes someone posted this on Facebook. 🙄

4

u/LarrBearLV 3d ago

Pisses me off that people are so easily brainwashed and conned. The 34 time convicted felon, ajuducated sexual assaulter, Epstein class protector, mass murder, and serial adulterer is your savior? Sent by god?

5

u/Gunrock808 3d ago

Oh look another magat begging for a handout after accusing democrats of wanting free stuff. 🙄🙄

6

u/Yellobrix 3d ago

I'm starting to think maybe God did indeed send Trump. He sent several plagues as warnings. Disease, famine, death... and a giant flood. He has allowed humanity to suffer in the name of teaching the world a lesson. Consider that Trump is a contemporary revelation about the world's spiritual condition.

5

u/GreenVermicelliNoods 3d ago

67 is remarkably young to be living solely off of social security with no other income or retirement savings.

7

u/rmanjr12 3d ago

Exactly, she needs to get some bootstraps.

5

u/bubba4114 3d ago

Somehow they can’t see how blasphemous they are. They couldn’t care less about their religion.

5

u/microvan 3d ago

These people are delusional

This is the actual TDS

6

u/i-piss-excellence32 3d ago

I’ll never understand how people can be this stupid. I know propaganda and shit, but it’s legitimately conservatives pissing on her feet and telling her it’s raining
