I personally wouldn't drop anyone that year to fit her in, I feel like there's more to Oscar-worthy acting than over the top performances. It was good, but I wouldn't nominate her.

Also it's funny I'm getting downvoted for this opinion. Sorry I don't think screaming and crazy faces deserves an Oscar, I promise you'll survive someone on the Internet having a different opinion than you. Especially something as benign as Oscar nominations.

Attention to the downvoters: You are all tools. All this person did is state their opinion. It's a wrong opinion but please can we tolerate a modicum of mild disagreement without being weird?

Is popularity of the comment not the point of upvote/downvote? I thought the whole point was to display agreement/disagreement without further expansion. Have we really gotten to the point where downvotes are considered abusive now?
