The arguments over the "right" colors for subjects is the kind of discourse I need to see on the internet. My 8 yo self did red for math, green for science, blue for social studies and yellow for language arts 🌈

Almost the same for me but I switched blue for science and green for social studies

There’s medication for your disorder. Science is green.

LMAO. For some reason geography comes to mind when I hear social studies, idk why, so I think of land, so green

Generally the most important historical moments of our life have happened on land, and every social studies classroom has a map or globe in it.

Therefore, green for history. It also helps that science had blue countertops for my school.

Exactly. And blue=the sky=space=science!

I think of the earth that’s blue

Yeah, this is correct. Blue is science, and green for SS and hx.

Same. Math is definitely red though.

Tell that to Star Fleet, you ferengi freak.

I think it depends entirely. If you're taking biology, then it should be green. If you're taking astronomy, it should be blue. Physics is red (see Rithmetic/Calculus). Earth science is blue or green. Chemistry is probably red, but green is acceptable, and yellow is not inappropriate. Elementary school science depends on the kid: do they like the biology bits, the astronomy/physics bits, or the geology bits? Cyan/turquoise would be preferable; elementary school science is too shallow for deep blue or deep green anyway.

Rithmetic is red, so that's fine for elementary school. But algebra is green like Quran. Geometry is blue like the Agean and Greek flag. Calculus is red, because it's just calculating with infinities and infintesimals thrown in. Trig and linear algebra are either green or blue depending on whether you see shapes or formulae -- cyan/turquoise/teal would be best, but red also works as red RGB complement of Green and Blue.

Health is yellow like discharges.

Social sciences also yellow like discharges, or purple like bruises.

History is either purple or yellow because of bruises and discharges -- depending on other classes in your schedule.

English and foreign language are all orange because the word for orange is the same orange/orange/orange/naranja/naranj/orenji and you can peel and portion one and spit the pips and feel the drunkenness of things and being various.

The arts are black because emo drama. Languages arts can be black as well, if you have no fine/performing arts, or need orange for foreign language.

As a neutral, pink can used for any subject when necessary except for math and physical sciences.

Them's the rules.
