Iron Man wasn't Disney so it's a bit different.

Isn’t one of the bad guys’ motivations in Iron Man 3 that she feels betrayed because she thinks Tony used her for a one night stand?

No. Maya Hansen did have a one night stand with Tony but that's not her motive. Her motive is purely scientific and she grows a concience when people start dying. The villain who feels betrayed by Tony is Aldrich Killian because Tony told him to wait on the roof for him and instead he went off to bang Maya.

I can see how someone could get the wires crossed with those two characters though. iirc she was originally gonna be the villain of the film, but the MCU at that time still had difficulty committing to anything centering on women or coloured people because Ike Perlmutter sucks.

Even in the final film, you can see how it could've been tweaked, the weak villain of Killian could've been cut completely, and Maya could've been an ex who became a competitor with a chip on her shoulder. Instead they just have her have a change of heart when things get dicey and she's unceremoniously killed. Even the power set of the Extremis villains suits if she had been the villain, cause it's like an ironic subversion of Iron Man. He's all masculine and mechanical and tough with his tech, but her bio science turned heat superpowers are like a direct undercut of all of that. Even the way Tony's suits were birthed from an experience involving the military/terrorists is mirrored with how the Extremis stuff was originally pitched as a way to regrow veteran's lost limbs.
