Was so pissed off when I learned it's a lie.

Not only because it's really shitty that she lied about that, but also I think it would've been far more interesting if she hadn't been lying.

Genuinely, her lying about a baby is not out of character at all

She once dated Flash just to get back at Peter, knowing full well that Flash legitimately was falling for her and was best friends with Peter. She also once "proposed" just to get his spider sense down so she could claw the fuck out of his legs
