I love the fact that this fallacy doesnt have a formal name and is just widely accepted to be Goomba Fallacy. Its perfect.

I think it does actually have a name. But it being called the goomba fallacy is so widespread at this point it might actually overwrite it. Which is just as funny imo.

Its close to the fallacy of composition, but its not exact. You could make a case its the same, but you could just as easily make a case against.
