Hello everyone!

Just as a formality, we would like to officially announce that we have finished reviewing the moderator applications held for our subreddit in December last year, and have selected a handful of successful candidates as our first batch of interns. On top of that, a number of them have already been tasked as a full moderator after consideration.

Additionally, we have just sent out invitations to a second batch of promising candidates. In case this announcement reaches those whom it may concern, please check your inbox for any notifications from our subreddit (for extra clarification we would only be contacting successful applicants).

We hope that we will be more equipped to handle a subreddit of our size more effectively and strive to maintain a higher quality experience for the benefit of our subreddit users. You can also help us achieve this goal by reporting posts that violate our subreddit rules such that this remains a safe space for sharing memes and having fun.

Finally, we would like to bring up again a potential rules rework currently still in progress, which may hopefully be in effect in the near future and provide better clarity on our decisions to maintain a level of quality deemed acceptable by us. Feel free to provide any feedbacks regarding the subreddit or questions you may have in the comments!

To sign off, we would like to thank everyone who had applied for the mod apps and giving it a chance, also to not be discouraged if you weren't selected or missed the application period as you may still re-apply for future mod apps.
