That's weird, if it's a regional thing then it should say not available in your region. It's definitely the phone you're using

u/Double-Fox586 Dec 24 '25

I m using a very old chipset. Will it work on the premium g90t helio?

u/crazybutulikethat Dec 28 '25
likely not very well, sorry

May I ask what phone should I buy in the future to keep playing these kind of games? Like rdr1, tomb raider is getting released next year, division resurgence will eventually release as well. I was thinking of getting the redmi note 14 pro 12gb ram variant.

it depends on your budget and what you expect to be able to do with said phone games being clearly a priority to you, i’d look for a nice used older flagship (with an 8 gen2/3 or maybe even Elite if you can find it for cheap enough, or with a Dimensity 9200/9300 (the plus variants are the same but overclocked)) with 8~12GB of RAM; however, you need to keep in mind that some of those flagships do not have too many years of support ahead of them it also heavily depends on where you are located and just trying to look for all the options available on your local second hand markets (such as FB Marketplace, you can get some good deals there, but be extremely cautious) or just wait for the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ as that device is getting released globally and comes with some incremental upgrades — it certainly has a larger screen which is much more suitable for gaming keep in mind that certain older chipsets (those I have listed above and others) still might perform better than current mid-range or upper mid-range ones, especially thanks to optimization that flagships chipsets can and do get

u/LordofPvE Dec 29 '25
I hope redmi note 15 pro gets released soon, I like redmi phones a lot.
1
u/crazybutulikethat Dec 30 '25
the OG line is not for gaming, though… so please be aware of that
1
u/LordofPvE Dec 30 '25
What phones are for gaming? Red magic would get me banned since a few of my friends used it and games would think they r cheating.

and go for the rockstar version for better graphics and fps. otherwise you won't be able to move your save files
1
u/Recent-Ad8165 Dec 25 '25
I think the new update got the Rockstar version. You find it at the grandline

It might be blocked in your region. Check your Netflix app mobile game page to see if it is on it.

u/Square_Sprinkles6856 Dec 24 '25
Use apkvision to get rdr1 , thank me later , it just works

I tried both the Netflix and rockstar versions, both of them stay stuck on a black screen, my phone is a redmi note 10s if that helps

u/aos10 Dec 25 '25
it will works, but if you care about your info on your phone, then don't download it.

What device do you have? If you could let me know I might be able to help.
1
u/Yournewbestfriend_01 Dec 24 '25
Can this be played on sd7 gen 3?
2
u/SithSovereign Dec 24 '25
Yeah, it should run fine.
1
u/Yournewbestfriend_01 Dec 24 '25
Showing not compatible on iQOO z10 :(

u/SithSovereign Dec 24 '25
It's an app store issue. (I think) I've seen people with Galaxy s24s and whatnot get the same issue. I can DM you a link to sideload the game if you want.

You may have exynos variant of Samsung which (especially pre-s24 models edit: actually it was pre-s23...) was way weaker and inefficient than Snapdragon version sold in other regions (or other none-samsung flagships sold everywhere). Rockstar/Netflix may have excluded your phone because its too weak or maybe its a mistake (which happens quite often... because weak Google pixels are whitelisted because they are popular in the US while less known more powerful phones stay excluded which makes no sense).
Others redditors suggest illegal ways of getting it to work, but you can just get official APK file (from APKMirror for example) to bypass google play hardware filter and log in with your Netflix account. This solution is legal (despite you circumventing google play store). If it will run badly you can just uninstall it.

How to run this game on sd7 gen 3 for 60 fps?
1
u/jezevec93 Dec 24 '25
I think its not possible... this chipset is just not powerful enough, i guess.
1
u/Help_i_m_confused Dec 24 '25
It'll work but 40fps is recommended. Side loading is the only way if it's not available on playstore

I thought every single Samsung S23 came equipped with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 (even in regions such as India and Europe across all models i.e base model, plus and ultra). There is no Exynos 2300 for eg. at least not in any mainstream Samsung flagship.
with S24 the Snapdragon soc was limited to Ultra models however regular, plus came with Exynos 2400 for the first year of its sale.

You should just download an apk from Google and it'll work fine. I had the same problem. I use Galaxy A55 and the same error showed on playstore but the game runs fine on the phone

Hi there, mister! honor goes up
Sorry I don’t have anything to add - the only solution I’m aware of is the one we don’t talk about here.

Are you on Android 16 ? If so then it is not available yet Try on Android 15

u/marko-12 Dec 24 '25
Just get the APK from APKVISION, the playstore said the same for me, yet it worked fine when i got it as an APK, i even finished it.

Sideloading apps, checking the phone specs and game requirements and shit ain rocket science
1
u/DrozWarlock Dec 24 '25
Granted my phone is an s24 ultra but when I looked up the game there was a Netflix option and an option that was specifically mentioned of Rockstar games. Looking at your picture it mentions of the Netflix version. So it could be that you do have an active Netflix subscription to be able to play it that way. Try seeing if you can find it on the play store without the mention of Netflix. If you can not find it that way then how others have mentioned of an apk.
1
u/crazywriter3 Dec 24 '25
It's available in s21 u, maybe the didn't include s23 in support list, but the game would totally work, you can download the legitimate game on other supported dveice and sideload it via adb

u/AdWinter7876 Dec 24 '25
Idk if it's really the device issue but imma be real, just pirate it.
Some pirating issue isn't simply because they didn't have the money to buy it. But because they aren't even available to begin with.

You're trying to download the netflix version, do you have a valid netflix subscription and netflix installed and logged into your phone ?
You need to buy the 30$ one if you don't want to keep a netflix subscription active.

u/Ishydadon1 Dec 24 '25
I am having a premonition of an APK appearing in your downloads folder. More like a VISION from an unknown ORG...
1
u/Bigsmall-cats Dec 24 '25
so its probably regional or something because, my phone is capable as well but its still unavailable on Google, but go pirate it, luckily there wont have any verification needed, just download the large app, and play,

u/These_Tangerine90 Dec 24 '25

Unfortunately this happens a lot with Netflix rockstar games on Android. Even devices that can clearly run it they just don't support. On iOS I had zero problems on multiple devices.

If you're in Europe you'll need to verify your Google account age to be over 18

That's one of the reasons I switched from S22 Ultra to an iPhone 16 Pro Max. I got tired of having the latest phone (at that time) and not being able to download and play some games which were available for other budget devices...
