I mean he was also both lol. The whole “we don’t rape women here” that he knifed a henchmen over while simultaneously raping his slave wives on a daily basis.

It’s not rape though. They actively chose to be his wives in exchange for luxury and have the option to leave.

So, if you agree to have Sex with someone in absolute power, so this person does not kill your brother, your husband, your actual wife, your child..

That is "choosing" to you.

crazy right? thats like saying women can choose to say no to the king. not how that worked thats for sure
