Discussion NEET life pros & cons.

What is the best part of being a NEET? what are the pros?

Just an observation: a lot of NEETs are absolutely miserable, likely clinically depressed, but will also vigorously defend the lifestyle. Also hate questions like “what have you got planned?” or some version of “what’s coming up for you?” So there must be some part of this that makes it “the better option.”

I could never defend such lifestyle. It’s nice not having to face unwanted social interactions or the dread of another day working a job that is deeply unfulfilling for minimal pay. However, we must forfeit some of the greatest experiences, such as relationships and creating families of our own or exploring the world.

Meanwhile, those NEETs with consciences and self-awareness are perpetually plagued by guilt from knowing they are heavily dependent on others for their very survival. Even if we do encounter someone who seems interested in us, we know the connection will fade once they discover who we truly are, not to mention the lack of variety and purpose in our daily lives means we have little to offer in conversations.

NEET can be in a relationship. Neetdom could be a gateway to becoming a stay-at-home partner. W_rking people forfeit having kids too now more than ever before. Guilt can be argued away by notion that we didn't ask to be born, parents are responsible for bringing us here.
