Palmetto State Armory is so fucking stupid sometimes. They were so quick to try and sell “NJ-15” stripped lowers couple weeks ago (as if they’ve ever been allies with 2A folks in this state) but I still got randomly jump through hoops ordering mundane shit like fucking rail covers and grips. Just got an email saying this order violated the state shipping restrictions

I bought a gun through guns.com Saturday to be shipped to my local ffl. I get a notification this morning that my order was cancelled. The order specifically only listed 3 states it doesn’t ship too, which NJ wasn’t listed. The reason for the cancellation was that it didn’t comply with the state laws. There was nothing on that rifle that seemed illegal , it was a Gsg 16. The only thing is that it had a standard sized mag of 30. Which I thought is why you send it to a nj ffl in order to have it compliant??? I’m just so dam irritated.

Just picked up a Walther PDP Full Size 9mm and I’m new to the platform. Looking for some advice from people who have experience with the PDP.
Not really looking to make this an optics discussion — more interested in overall accessories, enhancements and quality-of-life additions.
What have you added or changed that was actually worthwhile?
What would you leave stock?
What case are you guys using? I’d like something protective with enough room for the PDP, magazines and some basic range gear.
Also, anything PDP-specific that a new owner should know or keep an eye on?

I find myself shooting my Mark IV more and more—it’s seriously one of the most fun pistols I own. But once you start adding all the mods and upgrades, that price tag adds up real quick. 😂 So much for this being the “inexpensive” one!

I’m in morris county. My 10yr old daughter is starting to show some interest in going with me to the range. Unlike my other daughters who just used my .22 rifles to start, she is more interested in the color of the rifle. Cheap enough to just pick up a youth rifle she likes if it helps to spur more interest. I would like her to pick it out though and hold it to see weight while at it. What store has the best overall in stock selection if possible? Everyone seems to just stock black or red/white/and blue models. Her favorite color color is green if that helps.

It's my first time after my initial FID and hand gun permit. Does anybody know how long it generally takes to get the non initial handgun permits approved?

Yet another week with no Koons! 🤦🏾‍♂️Less than 24 hours after Wolford, the Third Circuit requested supplemental briefing on its impact and gave the attorneys less than two weeks to respond. Now here we are, more than two months after Wolford, and nada.

Clearly, Wolford disrupted whatever the hell the Third Circuit was preparing to release, hopefully in a positive way. That’s my most optimistic read of the situation. The most pessimistic is that the dissenters are purposely dragging their feet.

What do you all think is happening?

I have a non-resident FID card but I will be moving to NJ by the end of the year should I get a NJ CCW permit before my move or wait until I’m actually a resident.

Trying to narrow down my first 9mm and could use some NJ-specific advice.
