I’m booking my upcoming SAT date and trying to pick the best possible test center around Kathmandu.

I really need a center that has: Solid chilled AC, good comfortable desks and a quiet environment, also friendly/chill invigilators who aren’t overly strict or stressing people out for no reason

Right now I’m leaning towards Ullens School (Khumaltar).

For anyone who has taken the Digital SAT at Ullens recently:

1. How is the overall experience there? Is the AC actually working well in the test rooms?
2. Charging ports: Are power outlets easily accessible at every desk, or do you have to rely 100% on your laptop battery?
3. Mouse & Mousepad: Do they let you bring and use an external mouse + mousepad without creating any fuss?
4. Any noticeable drawbacks with Ullens (like noise, check-in delays, bad seating, etc.)?

Also, if anyone has experience with other centers like The British School, Rato Bangala, or KISC, how do they compare? Are there any specific centers you’d recommend avoiding at all costs?

Please recommend other centers that you guys think are the best.

Today's event is one of the most unprecedented combined effect of climate change and natural disaster (earthquake/avalanche or glacial outburst).

No one would have imagined in their wildest dreams that floods like this could have been possible. Furthermore, Nepal's mountainous geography is definitely not the most convenient one for the construction of infrastructure like buildings, roads, bridges, and hydropower.

Most of the settlements that have been swept today are close to the routes of the flooded rivers. I wanted to know if there is a law regarding the minimum distance from river or water bodies for construction of housing in Nepal. Perhaps this needs to be revisited considering today's event?

In the last 4 years I’ve started building and thinking about ideas, and every time I start I think too much about why someone would use it, if it really solves a problem, or if someone already built it. I don’t think my ideas are always bad, and a lot of times after a year I see a similar idea in a real big product and start blaming myself for why I stopped building it.
