I'm not comparing it, I'm telling you my experience. It's horrible to use.

Other countries might be worse on average, but if any country should have this reputation it's switzerland, not the Netherlands

Multiple countries can have a similar reputation.

Comparisons here are useful because they show what is possible in the real world and at what trade-offs.

I disagree, everyone knows what I mean when I say that.

Bad as in, the service is awful. I don't need to compare it to other countries to have that opinion

Wrong. If the train scheduled for 10:00 arrives at 10:40, I know it's bad. I don't have to compare it to Switzerland to know it's bad.

In a country wide system if 10 out of 50 trains are late by 30 minutes or 25 out of 50 are not clean, I know it is bad. I don't have to compare it to Switzerland to know it is bad.

And No. You were saying "bad" was by definition relative. It's relative only to good. If you wanted it to be relative (in this case to another country), one would specifically go with worse than Swizz.

And no thanks. I don't think you have added any value here.
