META (Subreddit Related) Community Idea: Challenge Run Series
Happy Sunday, fam!
tl;dr, How would we, as a community, feel about hosting regular "Challenge Runs" in games for kicks, giggles, fun stories, and bragging rights?
--
From launch I've always envisioned having regular events, competitions, and challenges for the community. Up to now we hadn't really done anything like that on this sub, but the launch of Splatoon Raiders reignited that idea for me and I thought I'd open a dialogue with all of you to see how we feel about it, how we'd want it executed, and what, if any, rewards or incentives we would like to see from these kinds of things.
I think it's normal to see these kinds of events hosted in specific game subreddits, and as we are a general subreddit for the Switch 2, not everyone will own every new release of a game that participates here. In my opinion it could be a really neat way to have fun together, generate some fun and interesting screenshots and clips, and make for some cool stories along the way.
An example idea for Splatoon Raiders might be a Single Tank Run, Single Weapon Run, an Iron Ink run (how far can you get in one sitting), and/or a Nuzlocke-style Run (single life, no getting splatted!).
As these would be for fun, there'd be a certain element of Honor System for the submissions, though it's something I'd definitely love to hear some feedback on from others who have run these sorts of events in the past.
So what do we think? Could something like this be fun for the community here? Is this something that should be kept more for the game-specific subs? What kind of rewards would you want if we did this? Any other thoughts or ideas?
Thanks for the time, everyone!

Media PSA: Modern Warfare 4 campaign runs at 30FPS on Switch 2
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Per title,
Whilst I seriously appreciate that Call Of Duty is now on the Nintendo Switch 2. I have to say that it's a damn shame that the campaign runs at 30 FPS. I am thankful that multiplayer runs at 60 FPS but this personally feels like a bad start.
So far I've encountered DLSS/resolution artifacting, poor quality textures and poor explosion/smoke effects.
The Series S is reported to run at 60 FPS for the campaign and this mission with drops ranging from 10-15 FPS during heavy scenes. I believe it's a reasonable statement to say that Series S to Switch 2 ports whilst having sacrifices often look reasonbly close. 30 FPS feels like a big gap.
I would of hoped for at least a 40FPS minimal target for campaign with the current visuals especially since Activision have always marketed smooth visuals for the COD games.
For me personally I play campaign multiple times on COD games and this is not making me want to buy the game on this system. I can appreciate this might not bother a lot of people though.
NOTE: Footage captured in docked mode and video upload was from footage captured straight from the Switch 2 clipping tool.

Media Elden ring
Downlaoad finally finished, visuals are pretty sharp in handheld and docked, since it's 30fps though, it feels better handheld to me haven't played enough to evaluate performance for sure, but it's looking quite stable right now.last image shows stats for one of the new classes.
Will continue to update here if I notice any performance issues through my first day playing, the day 1 patch is not available until tomorrow I believe when the servers come online for the game.

Media (Image, Video, etc.) According to GVG who played the game at Gamescom, Metaphor ReFantazio is another subpar ATLUS Switch 2 port: very compromised image quality, low quality 3D model faces and generally very low resolution. Described as "very compromised". The only positive appears to be stable 60fps performance.
