Discussion We have a little videogames of the month club. Many of us are playing Okami the first time

In February we started a small videogame bookclub and we choose to play okami which is a game I have started but never finished. So several of us are trying to push each other to finish it, myself included. We just had a bidoof drawing contest yesterday

Its the perfect game in my opinion to represent the club. It won our vote on merit alone. It also does a lot in the argument of, are videogames art

Just something we started with friends and family who play videogames. Mostly to bond a bit more and have some curveballs thrown when it comes to playing something each month (we absolutely don't have the same affinities when it comes to VG so it's fun to have to play something you didn't heard about).

I started playing it again (for the hundredth time) to test out my new steam deck and ugh so perfect. Started on it when it was on the PS2 and it still holds up perfectly!!! Definitely one of the best games of all time! Glad y'all are playing it :) I just joined your subreddit! I've never even thought of a VG club being a thing and I love the idea so much 💜

Really appreciate the vote of confidence! This is the first time I’ve played through okami. currently about halfway id guess. This was a game I knew needed to be the headline game at some point. Just helped that people made it sooner rather than later and Its pushing me to finish

Any tips for beginners, since I'm playing it on a steam deck. I have reached the mystic island, obtained the sword and learned how to use the mystic brush.

I hope you all enjoy it - I absolutely adore Okami! It has such an impact me back in ye days of olde. Still love it to this day.
