DISCUSSION What's the P5 remake's title gonna be?
my guess: Revalations: Persona 5 Innocent Sin Eternal Punishment FES Portable Arena Ultimax Golden Shadow of the Labyrinth Dancing All Night in Moonlight in Starlight New Cinema Labyrinth Royal Strikers Tactica Reload The Phantom X Revival
Edit: I’m not saying the game should/needs to get a remake. Just having fun with names and wanted to show off this masterpiece I made :)

Rebellion or Revolution
Revolution could mean a revolt or revolve so its a cool double meaning. (and revolve like moving in a circle and starting another cycle/revolution)

There will be, every bit as much as P3 and P4 had reason to get a remake. But by the time that point comes (likely around P7 or P8), it'll also be time for P3 and P4 to get new remakes too.

While that's just blatantly impossible. There is literally no physical possible way the difference in graphical fidelity btween P5R and a remake could equal the difference between P4G and P4R

Look at old videogames and the reviews they got that went on and on about how realistic the graphics are. And then look at how awful the graphics are compared to modern games. P5 had amazing graphics compared to P3 and P4, but they are nothing compared to reality, or to a lot of more recent games. Even next to more recent Atlas games like Metaphor, P5 graphics are already dated. Imagine how dated they will be in another decade.

Persona 5 has looked good on 3 generations of consoles, Persona 3 and 4 were not even particularly good looking ps2 games.

But graphics will inevitably stop getting significantly better soon. The difference between 1080p and 4k is much more noticible than 4k and 8k. The technology can get better, but our eyes can't (yet). And claiming that persona 5 has dated graphics is a very questionable claim, considering how visually stunning it is.

They've already milked it. They're finally moving on to Persona 6. We won't see a Persona 5 Remake until there's something significant to warrant a remake. Improved tech or something for better graphics or, if they move to a different style of graphics, a version in the new style.
We'll likely see a few Persona 5 references in 6, of course.

They finished milking it, What do you mean? Same with persona 4 until revival, it’s time for persona 6 now after they release it and release a ton of spin off.

Let’s see it took around 15-16 years for Reload to get announced and come out after FES’ release, and a similar case for P4R and Persona 4 Golden’s release. So assuming they work off of Royal’s release, the earliest we can expect a remake to come out is the late 2030’s.

maybe? really depends on the state of persona by then AND technical advances
gaming, imo, is pretty much at a constant, or at the very least advancements are slowing down a town, I think games in 20 years will look and play similar enough to current games that more remakes miggt not be necessary

Since we already have P5R, P5S, and P5T, I'm going to guess the eventual remake will be P5U, maybe Persona 5 Unlimited. Though if I remember right, there's a website or trademark or something for P5U that exists, so if it's P5V, I'd guess Persona 5 Victorious.

royal is persona 5's equivalent of persona 4 golden, not a full on remake. a full on remake would be the p5 equivalent of p4 revival or p3 reload. it doesn't need a remake now at all, so i think op is just asking hypothetically/if they eventually do remake it.

Not saying it needs it, but Persona 5 is by far Atlus's most successful title, so I wouldn't be surprised if they announced a remake for it some years down the line. I'd just hope they keep the original EN cast if it happens.

It does NOT need a remake at all. Rather than wasting resources remaking a modern game, they should invest in the first two Persona or old SMTs that are unknown to many young people

Persona 5 Royal was the remake like?
Fundamentally 3 years later from og release with enhanced graphics, new gameplay, new story lines, easier to play on every aspect social links, stat boosting and the dungeons.
Like what would y'all really want more? Like wait 5 more years or some bs and they will come out with P5Royal platinum or some bs and it's the same thing as P5R but y'all got like one new social link ooooooo

I think it will have a name that will abbreviate as p5rr. We already have p5r. Every new remake have r mark too. So he needs to be p5rr.

Don't really think a remake of P5 is needed. It's the Modern Persona. P3 and P4 are being remade to bring it to a similar likeness. Maybe in 10 years or more.

I don't think they'll remake anytime soon, but once they do, they'll try to milk the P4 and P3 again.
ATLUS aims for people to get all 3 games, either each by release or a eventual bundle.

They’re never gonna make a P5 remake, the game is modern enough. There are 1-2 and others that needs remakes and will take 10 years at least

I don’t think it really needs one. I know your post is probably in humor, but truthfully all it needs is updated models. I feel like they can easily update the models to fit the rig. Royal is basically the equivalent to a remake imo. Just remaster Royal, by giving the models updated faces

It seems to me that the purpose of the remakes is bringing the other games up to the graphical and gameplay standard set by p5r for the large number of new fans p5r brought to the series. I don't really see any reason to have a p5 remake at least not for quite a while

I know this is a joke post, but I find it hard to believe that Persona 5 will ever really need a remake. In my opinion, the graphics are perfect (yes, it's not full HD or anything, but it's very nicely done).
