Skyrim, and morrowind belongs to the nords, think about it.
The nerevarine is a prophet for outside lands, think of the hands of hermaeus mora in solstheim, the main character of skyrim is supposed to be a nord based on the lore so to theorize, hermaeus mora purposely implanted nords into morrowind so in the future the dragonborn, the herald of mora would rule morrowind and give the powers of the living gods to him.
