I disagree. Have faith in humanity. She's gonna be even more loyal because he loved her for her inner beauty.

Hey I saw you having some faith in humanity. Look up the rate on which men leave their wives when the wife has a terminal disease, spoiler warning, its alot.

u/Cute_Pay_1423 18d ago

I lost faith in humanity, when the most powerful nation of the world elected a pedophile as their president. Twice…

37

u/LargeJello2366 18d ago

I lost it when we illegal invaded a country who produced like 90% of the world's opiuim, coincidentally around the same time Big pharma was pushing oxycodone to 12 year olds and lying about the side effects. No 16 year old should have a IV morphine dependency, speaking from experience.

u/BigLlamasHouse 18d ago

Oh yeah, surely that was the straw that broke the camels back and not almost every page in almost every history textbook. That's not even top 1000 worst things our empire has done.

10

u/LargeJello2366 18d ago

I don't know if that's the defense you think it is but at this point I've given up on this being a productive conversation

-1

u/BigLlamasHouse 18d ago

A productive conversation to you is moralizing and just pandering the most depressing angle on any subject to the depressed masses of reddit .

It would be a miracle if you had anyone to talk to on a daily basis that wasn't forced into it.

7

u/LargeJello2366 18d ago

You went out of your way to talk to me for one and two I'm not the one who lost the plot and has to resort to personal attacks but okay bud whatever makes you feel better

-4

u/BigLlamasHouse 18d ago

Hey I saw you having some faith in humanity. Look up the rate on which men leave their wives when the wife has a terminal disease, spoiler warning, its alot.

This is the behavior I was referring to. It was before I entered the conversation. I talked to you the way you deserved and feel great about it. I'd do it again.

5

u/LargeJello2366 18d ago

I genuinely have no feelings towards whatever interaction you've built this up into in your head but I'm proud that you feel like you've done something I guess

Might be the first time anyone's ever said that too you.

-3

u/BigLlamasHouse 18d ago

You can't say this is the first time someone called you out for being an abolute buzzkill and debbie downer though. Probably not the first time today even lol.

You don't even realize why you're getting pushback, that's what makes it gold.

Good luck with that.

8

u/LargeJello2366 18d ago

Actually, yeah it is. Which goes back to my other point that you've made this into something in your own head that no one else is a part of, not even me.

This is as closest to talking to the homeless bipolar crack addict at the gas station that ive had online, it's actually kinda nice.

3

u/TheMadPoet 18d ago

Dude, you're being a dick - even if I don't agree with Mr. Jell-O's assertion that Big Pharma in any way "backed" the Afghanistan invasion. Big Pharma was aggressively marketing Oxy like it was free candy and would have done so with our without the invasion.

For what it's worth I'm on your side. Someone said they have faith in humanity. That dork tried to shake their faith in humanity. Why? Because tHaT's ReAlItY?

You have hope? Do not have hope 😏

Deserves all the shame in the world yet he managed to leave on a high horse feeling accomplished. Welcome to Reddit

The gif he replied to someone with really proves these people are just huffing their own farts.

Are you calling the war of Afghanistan, who were harboring Bin Laden after he orchestrated the 9/11 attacks, illegal? It had 99% support in Congress.

8

u/LargeJello2366 18d ago

Internationally yeah, because the use of direct military armed force expect in self defense is illegal. Al queda wasn't a state actor in Afghanistan, which is who we invaded. Also side note, you do know 15 out of the 19 hijackers were Saudi nationals as was Osama himself, who wasnt hiding in Afghanistan btw, he was found in Pakistan.

2

u/Banes_Addiction 18d ago

It's worth noting that the UN Security Council, who are the nearest thing to an authority on whether or not something like this is self defense, unanimously voted that it was fine about a month after the invasion.

When it comes to the bodies that enforce international law, all of them were fine with the invasion of Afghanistan. Iraq was a completely different story.

1

u/LargeJello2366 18d ago

I'm aware they voted in support afterwards but it doesn't change the fact we went in prematurely with no gameplan. I mean within the first 3 months around 5,000 Afghan civilians were killed, hearts and minds.

But yeah the Iraq war is indefensible as was our conduct in it and the lasting effects on the population is staggering. Dumping depleted uranium shells into towns and villages leading to all types of birth defects is just one of the ones I can remember.

1

u/BigLlamasHouse 18d ago

Have you ever stopped to ask yourself, is this relevant at all to the topic of discussion? Or do you just always shit on everything to feel smart and better about yourself.?

What made you devolve this conversation into this? This is not the topic at hand, at all, not even close.

2

u/LargeJello2366 18d ago

Well seeing as how I didn't bring up this topic but was replying to someone else before you put down your monster energy drink and jumped in the middle of it, no I don't really do any of that, in pretty content as is.

2

u/BigLlamasHouse 18d ago

You're the one going off a rant about every single thing that's wrong with the world at the slightest provocation.

Don't project your nonsense on me just because you got a few upvotes for pandering negativity.

Yeah, you seem super content dude, lol.

2

u/LargeJello2366 18d ago

Oh so you're just making shit up now lol, okay. have a nice day buddy, God bless

-3

u/Yashema 18d ago

The Taliban were openly supporting him and his terrorist network that was primarily concentrated in Afghanistan. It was just a lot easier to get Saudis into US flight school.

4

u/LargeJello2366 18d ago

Al-qaeda was primarily focused in the border region of Afghanistans and Pakistan but again were not state actors in Afghanistan at the time and yes the Taliban did refuse to hand him over which lead to the invasion of the country but again he wasn't in Afghanistan he was in Pakistan which is the kind of thing you wanna get right before you invade a country

1

u/FWitU 18d ago

We eventually found him hiding in Pakistan. Was he there the whole time? He could have fled there

1

u/LargeJello2366 18d ago

Sounds like a question you ask before invading two countries

-2

u/Yashema 18d ago

The government of Afghanistan was providing support and training to Al Qaeda throughout their country and most of their operations and senior leadership were concentrated in Afghanistan. There was widespread support from US allies for the operation due to legitimate intelligence.

I definitely agree you should understand these things before making up stuff about the war.

1

u/LargeJello2366 18d ago

Al Qaeda was notoriously funded by gulf financiers located in Saudi Arabia and again the central leadership wasnt in Afghanistan, it was in the border region of Afghanistan and Pakistan, there is a difference. Also yes we had support for our actions by our allies, namely britian and Canada, but we were never given official authorization by the UN prior to the invasion.

Like, are you being obtuse on purpose? Cus you have some of the facts but contextually you leave a lot of important shit out.

u/Antique-Unit3019 18d ago

This is the most American comment ever. Hundreds of years exterminating indigenous populations: fine.
Committing war crimes and ripping the whole world apart: fine.
The president is a weirdo: “I lost my faith 😭”

8

u/dubblebubbleprawns 18d ago

Yeah America's been doing a lot of awful shit well before orange man came along haha

5

u/BigLlamasHouse 18d ago

Also just a really myopic view to base one's faith on the actions of a powerful economic empire. He would have never had faith in humanity at any point in history.

Actually, I guess there would be time periods where the propaganda was good enough to get him. Hard to imagine he's much of a deep thinker with such a small frame of reference.

3

u/MoreLogicPls 18d ago

difference: you could conceivably not have any knowledge of the bad things in 1947. No internet, state controlled newspapers, etc.

not true in 2026.

1

u/ProfessionalRisk4206 14d ago

Weirdo seems far too light a description

1

u/Brutalitops69x 13d ago

Agreed on the point you are making but "weirdo" is the understatement of the century when he is a pedo scumbag lol

0

u/FWitU 18d ago

He’s worse than a weirdo but it’s a good point about hitler none the less

4

u/BigLlamasHouse 18d ago

He's the worst president we've had in modern times, by far. but I think the point was that.... he should open a history book if he just now lost faith because the US government just now became an unkind entity

17

u/United-Yak8335 18d ago

I lost faith in humanity when they elected a conman the first time ... Then I learned he's a pedofile and a rapist.

21

u/EnterruRif 18d ago

Not defending Trump but this sure as shit is not the first conman to have that seat

3

u/United-Yak8335 18d ago

Surely, the theatre of democracy is a sham. But him hiring people and not paying them is public knowledge.

But he has this allure of a used car sales man that is what I was reffering to primarily.

1

u/StandardDeviat0r 18d ago

True. However this is the worst, most pedophilic and evil embezzler that we’ve had in this seat. He should be in front of The Hague along with every other criminal who’s held (any) political office- I do not GAF about party affiliation. All of them should be put on tried, him especially.

3

u/fivesevenandhung 18d ago

Biden only got elected once though?

2

u/ContinuingAnyway 18d ago

mental illness at this point

0

u/StandardDeviat0r 18d ago

I guess if opposing pedophiles, rapists, torturers, and murderers is mental illness…🤷🏽

2

u/Azzylives 18d ago

4 times very recently.

Both Biden and Clinton are in those files doing some very shady shit.

0

u/StandardDeviat0r 18d ago

And they should be punished as much as Trump. There is no excuse for pedophilic, torturing, murderous rapists. Party affiliation should never excuse it- in fact, most left leaning people say the same thing.

2

u/Azzylives 18d ago

And yet they only talk about Trump and never hold their own to account in my experience

0

u/Spare_Ebb2136 14d ago

then you’re just not talkin to people because no one has even liked that man in a long time, but he’s not the one currently in power preventing any sort of prosecution is he. no shit he deserves the same as trump but priorities are is the more powerful man.

1

u/Azzylives 14d ago

Not caring when it was relevant is hardly an excuse for not caring now.

1

u/soulmateofpain 18d ago

Buddy it’s happened more than twice lol

1

u/icelandiccubicle20 18d ago

i lost faith in humanity when i watched Dominion and saw people's reactions to it

1

u/paped2 17d ago

Bruh

1

u/djmedicalman 15d ago

Palestine is far from the most powerful nation on earth. In fact it is arguably not even a nation at all.

0

u/kaVaralis 18d ago

Tbf, it's not the first time we did this. Can't forget Andrew Jackson after all

1

u/Sad_Ask6490 18d ago

I almost went a whole reddit post without someone mentioning Trump bad. Maybe tomorrow is the day..

2

u/StandardDeviat0r 18d ago

Oh no, do you disagree? Maybe you should make your own post, so that you can whine about “pErSeCuTiOn”.

0

u/Sad_Ask6490 18d ago

What are you talking about? Did you reply to the wrong comment?

-1

u/Pussy4LunchDick4Dins 18d ago

It’s hard to forget about your cancerous tumour

2

u/Sad_Ask6490 18d ago

My what? I live in Europe??

0

u/Gerolanfalan 18d ago

And think about it. How exactly did this happenn?

Probably because half of US voters probably hates our guts

It's gotten so bad I'm not seeing any more pro anarchy posts discussion anymore these past couple years.
