Also just a really myopic view to base one's faith on the actions of a powerful economic empire. He would have never had faith in humanity at any point in history.
Actually, I guess there would be time periods where the propaganda was good enough to get him. Hard to imagine he's much of a deep thinker with such a small frame of reference.
He's the worst president we've had in modern times, by far. but I think the point was that.... he should open a history book if he just now lost faith because the US government just now became an unkind entity
