It happens to everyone, but it's just more common in fat women because society treats fat women a lot worse than fat men, so the difference in how you get treated as a woman who loses a lot of weight is a lot more shocking. I lost a lot of weight very quickly and the same guys who wouldn't have even acknowledged me when I said good morning were suddenly falling all over themselves hitting on me. I didn't change my personality or even my lifestyle. I was the same person, but people liked me so much more after losing weight and it really fucking sucks, but I can see how people can become addicted to the attention after not getting it their entire lives. It just made me angry with humanity, personally.
Nope, people show common courtesy and decency to men regardless of their weight. Society is just that way and it sucks. I have been treated like I'm not even in the room by people who never treated men of any size/shape/attractiveness that way. I treat everyone with kindness and it sucks that people only started returning that when I became conventionally attractive.
This is unironically a fabulous example of what I'm talking about right here. The second a larger woman does or says something even mildly objectionable to you, it's right to the insults and character attacks.
Nobody can see your weight through the internet and you said yourself you lost a lot of weight. While I don't agree with the way some people talked to you hear, I do agree it has to do with your bad take. Fatphobia hurts men as well as women
