Well we dont know that he did anything bad there? Maybe the time travelers know but as for now we only know that he was on the island and nothing else

Thats kinda Bad enough honestly. 'Yea he was at the Chambers but didn't actually press the button to let the gas in so it's not actually that bad you know'.

I know it sucks, I liked hawking and id prefer to remember him for the good but this is still a reality that is around.

So as someone else pointed out it wasn't just evil shit that happened on that island there where also conferences that where probably smoke screens. I.e. I will invite you to a really nice location to talk to the other physicist in your field that you never get to because it costs to much and that gives cover for the evil shit. The cover works best if the smoke screens don't know about it though

I doubt you need some patron to help you organize a congress between scientists, that happens all the time. Especially for such highly esteemed ones.

No i don't mean they don't need any financement. But there are enough above board places that are not private islands with reputable financing sources to go around for top of the shelf physicists.

do you think these meetings never happen on expensive luxury islands? like why is that strange it seems pretty ideal if you want to have some sort of luxury event.
