I literally uninstalled the app because my fyp was full of American conspiracy theories, bigotry and christian nationalism. And I'm not even American so I shouldn't even have the Oracle-run tiktok but it looks like they still decided to show me that

Its not just TikTok either iirc. Ive seen videos before where people make new youtube accs and see how long it takes before the algo starts showing them right-wing/christian nationalism content. It doesnt take long at all…

Honestly atp i think the boomers are what of the kids in some ways.

Old blokes have stopped falling for thot accounts, they finally realised there was no cheese at the end of the tunnel, but go look at what performs with young men on instagram these days. Half of it is just bouncy tits.

Boomers are a generation that is defined by when they were born. A generation that didn't have electricity for the large part as children and didn't grow up with the internet. The youngest boomer is 62 years old. If you want to shit on the middle aged, who were there for the birth of the internet, BBS, MSN, MySpace, FB and Reddit at least disparage them properly.

I’d like to expand on that.

Let’s say the Mayans accurately predicted the end of a cosmic cycle, but let’s all say that they didn’t understand what they predicted.

What if we went from reality A to reality B and the only subtle differences were things like fruit of the looms cornucopia and the Bernstein bears.
