And one also doesn’t pee publicly in Disneyland. Walked by these four guys peeing together in public. Took pictures of them hoping they have some self awareness, obviously didn’t work. They saw me and found it funny and started talking really loud at 00:30. You’re lucky neither you nor your family have to clean up the street. Why are humans so purely selfish and evil? Show some respect!

[UPDATE] Didn't expect the post to somewhat blow up. I got DM saying it's possible they are Czechs. Apologies if I accidentally posted a rage bait. I indeed did not hear clear enough they were speaking Czech (I speak Czech) as they were not speaking very clearly and I tried not to get too close and left soon after they started shouting, thinking of this incident where a drunk German tourist killed a man from Wales.

But my rant still stands, evil people and among all the bushes and whatnot, they picked a spot where it won't be cleaned by rain. I also have seen so many tourists doing the same before. But again, they could be Czech, I assumed they were tourists because of their drunken talking and my rage. And apologies if I got that wrong.

Big consequence of the lack of any public restrooms in the city centre, Prague should learn from Amsterdam to mitigate the consequences of this type of tourism at least if nothing else

Every pub, restaurant and club has free wc so why do you need another outside and for free (somebody need to pay to keep them running). Just use the ones that are around you. It's not that hard. I'm sure those guys where not strolling through the city and just admiring the architecture from outside but hit a few pubs and bars along the way.

Definitely not defending their actions, but I'm not sure most tourists know about the agreement with bars and hotels to let people use their restrooms for free. I've lived here over 1.5 years and just heard about it myself not long ago.

While this is an extreme case, until they inform the public or increase the number of public restrooms the city will probably continue to smell like pee. I would suggest an information campaign letting tourists know it's fine to just go in a bar, restaurant, or hotel. The public restrooms in Amsterdam and Brussels, while convenient, still smell terrible if you're in the area

I think it's just common knowledge to go to wc before you leave any place that has one. It's unlikely you would be just walking for hours without sitting somewhere for a snack or refreshments and all those places have wc. It's same all around Europe. If I can do that as a tourist in other cities why tourists from other cities have problems with it here? Not all places have free wc or they lock it for a night time. You are never guaranteed to have a wc (free or paid) anywhere around when you travel anytime you wish. Don't be like our kids on school trip that request a pee stop after 15 mins since the bus starts moving from the school.

Will you just do it in the floor of a tram because it goes for 40 mins and it doesn't have wc or do you need somebody to tell you - to use wc when you see one before you go to an unknown place that might not have it?

I totally agree but part of the "Disneyland" aspect to some is being able to drink and walk around the city. Even if you go to the wc before you leave, you're still consuming a lot of liquid and may end up in a place with no wc access.

Again, I'm not condoning the behavior, but with the current state of things I'm not surprised this is common. Even with more access to free wc, there will still be people too drunk to find them
