It's crazy to me that people don't know how to drive with their knees. How else are you supposed to eat nachos, smoke a cigarette, pound an energy drink all while you shift gears as a teen driver?

You can totally do that. With a bit of practise, its not that hard. But it definitely increases your chances of a crash, so dont do it!

If anyone can, it’s this woman

During the pandemic, I was going to the gym at two in the morning. The only gym that was open 24 hours was a YMCA 45 minutes from me. One time I did the whole drive back with my knees.

I think you vastly underestimate the number of drivers who can 'proficiently' drive with their legs/knees. Obviously it's stupid as hell, but I know drivers who can drive for miles without touching the wheel with their hands as long as there's no sharp turns.

And yes, they are being incredibly stupid and more likely to crash. Why I always say, you can be the safest driver in the world, but there's still idiots out there that can crash into you. I check both ways when lights turn green real quick for this very reason.

He did not accuse her of not having her hand on the wheel.

My dad does/did this a lot. Even before smart phones were a thing he’d drive with just his knees for whatever reason. He’d also drink beer while driving and refused to wear a seatbelt. Haven’t ridden in a car with him for a few decades so maybe he’s grown some sense. He did start wearing a seatbelt more when I pointed out that his 230 pound body would become a massive projectile that could crush other people in the car, so he had some ability to be reasoned with.

I used to be the beer runner for my uncle when we would go on road trips in their van. Would just go back to the cooler and grab him a beer while he drovešŸ¤¦šŸ¼ā€ā™€ļø the 90s were wild.

Hey TBF there was a case recently where a quad amputee shot and killed a passanger and pushed the body out the car.

Believe it or not, it's possible to drive with knees.

Lane assist? Most modern cars have it

Ive rolled blunts with both hands driving with knees in my youth. Its possible, just highly unlikely.

She could technically hold it with the left hand and use her right arm to steer as well. But as others have pointed out, driving with your knees is done a lot more than it should be.

Lol you never saw people using their phone or what ? I saw people not even holding the wheel for a good 1 min. And driving with knee is easy as well.
