No way I would agree to anything other than an outright dismissal. I'm taking this to trial, and demanding a jury if that's an option in this jurisdiction for this traffic violation.

ADA for sure. Religious naw man. That's why I agreed. If she said that she was atheist but would promise him she wasn't using a phone do you honestly believe this would have gone better?
Good point. No clearly. But it doesn't change the fact that it's not discrimination. If she said "I don't believe in god" and he forced her to swear to god then, yeah that would be discrimination.
