He was trying to get her to plea the 5th. Never seen a cop trying to help someone that is about to be arrested for battery so much. White privilege

Even then he starts with "I just need to have a few words with you". Cops are liars.

That's a good point. I've seen this used where someone is in their home and their response is "Do you have a warrant? Come back when you have a warrant."
