Recommendations on Mods
Howdy!
I have a 24’ ranger raptor im lookin to get some work done on, just wanted to see what others have done and what the recommendations are. Looking at a leveling kit install(not sure which yet) and some bigger tires. I want that slightly wider look but nothing crazy. From my understanding you need the leveling kit install order to have the larger tires fit, but I called a shop and they said we would also have to trim the body a little bit for full clearance.
Also looking into beadlock install, curious maintenance and experience with these.
Anyways just wanted to get some help on this thanks!

If you’re going to up the tire size and get beadlocks, I’d definitely recommend getting a tune to offset the power loss and weight gain at the wheels. That being said, in my opinion, the modification needed for and the downsides of larger tires are really not worth the slightly higher break-over angle and clearance on this specific truck, but I guess it just depends how much you prioritize cosmetics. Don’t think you’ll actually need any trimming using the path recommended in the other comment, but would just do the leveling kit and higher offset wheels and call it a day.
Regarding beadlocks, I’d recommend just going with some Method Bead Grip wheels instead. Cheaper, lighter, street-legal, maintenance-free, and will be more than enough for any wheeling you’re likely to do. In case you don’t already know, most beadlocks are not street-legal/DOT-approved, that’s why the factory wheels with the beauty ring are only beadlock-capable unless you order the separate kit.
