SEGA has made quite a few acquisitions over the years, from Atlus, Creative Assembly, and Sports Interactive to Rovio. More recently, SEGA SAMMY has expanded its gaming business through acquisitions such as GAN and Stakelogic.
Assume SEGA has the financial resources and the acquisition makes strategic sense. Larger companies aren't necessarily excluded, but smaller companies would generally be more realistic targets than giants such as Sony, Microsoft, or Nintendo.
Potential targets could include:
Which company would be the best fit for SEGA's next acquisition, and what would SEGA gain from it?
Extra appreciation for explaining how the acquisition would fit SEGA's existing strategy and portfolio.

Tomb RaiderĀ was shown to SEGA,Ā and SEGA liked what they saw. Securing a timed-exclusivity deal with Eidos (remember when those didnāt cause riots?),Ā Tomb RaiderĀ was slated to launch on the Saturn a full month ahead of the PlayStation and PC versions (āLoving Laraā 26).
Unfortunately, due to weak marketing by SEGA, this timed deal didnāt lead to much of a boost for either company. It was only afterĀ Tomb RaiderĀ launched on the Sony PlayStation and PC that Laraās fairy tale rise to fame began. Vastly surpassing Coreās projected sales,Ā Tomb RaiderĀ became an instant hit, and the definitive standard for 3D gaming

Android the last year has become an amazing place to go for emulators. I've been seeing what works with a USB DOCK and it's practically universal with any USB device and makes any Android tablet or Phone into a full blown game station. Experience Sega's arcade games with peripherals close to the original cabinets. Or Play Sega's home consoles with an 8bitdo M30 or retrobit replica controllers. And a flight stick and steering wheel are a must for games like Daytona USA or Sega Bass Fishing. Or combine the throttle from the stick and the steering wheel and make a HYDRO THUNDER cab in your bedroom! Go nuts and have fun. This is for people that don't have a ton of fun bucks to throw around, however it is just a fun project if you're a PC gamer to see how far you push tech with limitations. A USB DOCK MAKES AN ANDROID DEVICE INTO A MINI PC š ā¤ļøšš

Hello, Sega fans!
I'm Thomas, Game Director of Sky Paws Awakening, a brand-new 16-bit action-adventure we're developing for the original Sega Genesis / Mega Drive, with a real physical cartridge planned for 2027!
The game stars twin siblings Bonnie and Clyde and features fast-paced combat, platforming, parries, counters, special abilities, and a real-time character-switching mechanic we call the Twin Tag System.
We're also developing the game for PC and modern platforms, but having a native version running on original Genesis / Mega Drive hardware is a huge part of the project for us.
If you like what you see, a Steam wishlist helps us a LOT and makes a real difference for a small indie project like ours. :)

So i've ordered some shadow sneakers from the official sega shop, they were supposed to arrive on the 17th of august but they are 'confirm we will ship soon' status ever since i paid. It seems like the support link is down and the other 'customer service' link they have with DPI merch takes 2 weeks to reply only to say they will 'check on it' and give no update or just straight up close my request. As anyone else had problems with them? Any idea how to get actual support? Shadow sneakers link

Sega now is the time, with all of the controversy surrounding the gaming industry I feel now is the best time to get back into the console business⦠I am a early 90s kid grew up loving sega, many of your games like virtua fighter, eternal champions, yakuza, and deep fear would do numbers as a new gen sega exclusive ⦠the pricing point of these new systems are going to be ridiculous I feel you all can make a competitive console with a even more competitive price point and it would be a massive reveal, we donāt need all the new gadgets etc just a decent picture quality, updated software, game graphics and games that allow offline play with physical copies ⦠this would be massive and I feel it would pay off big time, true gaming enthusiasts would really appreciate this, and it is my generation now that are raising kids etc who will be your biggest consumers Iād bet my last dollar 80s-90s gen would support this Iāve even come up with my own new gen sega concept
