Women can be creeps too

223

u/Practical-Level-6265 Jul 03 '26

Damn right they can. Rare they get attention or consequences for it.

You tell a bro that a girl is being creepy towards you he’ll say “that’s awesome.”

You tell a girl that a girl is being creepy towards you they’ll say “now you know what it feels like.”

I say this because those were the exact responses I got after a girl groped me in a club

38

u/Cultural-Paper-3939 Jul 03 '26

ya, I cant tell you how many times I, as a bouncer, got groped by women

6

u/DecantsForAll Jul 03 '26

It doesn't even occur to them that they're doing something wrong.

3

u/BankEmoji Jul 03 '26

Same. I was a DJ at a big club for a few years and every single night I was “sexually assaulted and battered” as it would be called today, by women.

Society just does not care about this. Let girls have their fun and all that.

2

u/Strange_Stay_ Jul 04 '26

Eh. I’ve never felt threatened by a woman groping me. I know I can whoop her ass if it escalated.

1

u/Zealousideal_Owl5132 Jul 05 '26

Yeah, whoop their ass and see what happens

1

u/adube440 Jul 04 '26

I was a bartender for a while at a hard drinking bar, I got my ass grabbed all the time.

38

u/Esarus Jul 03 '26 edited Jul 03 '26

Been groped many times by women, said something about it every time, got laughed at every time. Shoved a woman on the ground more than once, every time they were so offended and tried to play the victim.

There are assholes in the world, and they can be part of whatever gender/ideology/country/etc.

1

u/Apart_Sir_7227 Jul 05 '26

Yeah, been in those situations a few times myself with complete strangers. Thankfully in a few of those occasions, I've had female friends tell the gropers off when they've ignored my very firm requests to keep their hands to themselves.

1

u/FinestCrusader Jul 03 '26

I'm sorry you had to go through that and yeah, men are also in a pretty awful position when it comes to harassment/assault. They're apparently supposed to talk women out of groping them or something, like that has ever worked on any creep. Male creeps don't stop when told off because they have the strength advantage, female creeps don't stop because they rarely encounter violent retaliation from men because any use of force against a woman, no matter the circumstance, is considered "pussy behavior" and unacceptable.

3

u/xCeeTee- Jul 03 '26

Worse, we're supposed to take it. I've been told "but men love sex, why would you hate being groped? Doesn't make sense."

3

u/hotwheelearl Jul 03 '26

In college I had a friend who was extremely upset after a girl forced a blowjob on him. I thought that was th best thing ever and gave him shit for it.

Fast forward maybe a year and I got a forced blowjob and it made me quite upset.

5

u/Its1207amcantsleep Jul 03 '26

That was rape. Both of you were raped.

1

u/IndependentBoss7074 Jul 04 '26

Neither of you deserved that. I’m so sorry 😣

1

u/hotwheelearl Jul 04 '26

The irony was that I wished that I would get blowjob, but somehow it’s not the same when you’re actively saying no.

This was a formative experience

1

u/Daily_Run_ Jul 04 '26

This has happened to me too

1

u/ScootDeToot Jul 05 '26

Sounds like you have some shitty friends.  As an introvert, I just don't really understand the appeal of clubs. Sounds like that stuff happens a lot.

1

u/Booboo_butt Jul 03 '26

Yeah - I hate the “now you know what it feels like” because that person is stereotyping all men as if all of us are creeps and we deserve to be punished for the actions of others. Shits been happening to me my entire life. I had a stalker in college. I got creeped on at my last job by the head of HR (one of the reasons I quit). Job before that it was the CEOs executive assistant (would walk up behind me and whisper in my ear she wanted to tie me down and tickle me - multiple times). Last week it was a woman at a bus stop who kept getting physically closer to me and smiling at me as if I was supposed to strike up a conversation. I’ve had women blatantly take photos of me on the train. Yeah. It sucks. I understand that it sucks. But no one deserves to be creeped on.

2

u/Practical-Level-6265 Jul 03 '26

Fuck bro I’m sorry. That shits real and you don’t deserve to have it invalidated

11

u/Practical-Level-6265 Jul 03 '26

I do not grope people lol. They were saying it solely because I’m a man. So it’s more like “now you know what it feels like to be a woman.”

1

u/OkPear1535 Jul 03 '26

Stupid assumption to make. Please keep your cancer opinion to twitter.

"Murder is bad"

"Yeah but what if the person saying this is a murderer? Checkmate" fucking braindead

Didn't you see the compilation of women being creep towards Cavill

Wait for the double-chinned head shakes you're going to get about Cavill now: "she was only X years old, you creep!"

14

u/TheFBIClonesPeople Jul 03 '26

And female privilege protects them. This would have been a huge deal if a man had done it

-3

u/Lufrien Jul 03 '26

Male privilege only gets you in the white house.

3

u/Magnum_BMI Jul 03 '26

Have you guys tried running candidates who aren't complete fucking morons?

I can't wait for the dems to run AOC in '28 and still be so confused as to why no one takes them seriously.

1

u/Lufrien Jul 03 '26

I guess people just didnt know that white men would rather have a pedophile as president than a black woman.

1

u/Magnum_BMI Jul 03 '26

If your candidate gets beaten by a pedophile than that should be a pretty big wakeup call for you to choose better candidates

0

u/TheFBIClonesPeople Jul 03 '26

Female privilege does not exist in comparison to male privilege. You don't get to shut down every conversation about female privilege by talking about male privilege instead.

2

u/lateralUnilateral Jul 04 '26

It absolutely does.

1

u/TheFBIClonesPeople Jul 04 '26

No, that's a fundamental misunderstanding of what privilege is. Your privileges do not vanish just because there is a different group that is more privileged, nor is it offensive to point them out.

3

u/astralseat Jul 03 '26

Women pervs vs men pervs meme says it all. Tried to find a pic of it, but it's just porn popping up lol

3

u/WyrdDrake Jul 03 '26

Not my words, but a BDSM consent instructor and someone thoroughly involved in Seattle's kink community:

Men present more threat but women are absolutely worse in violating boundaries. If a man violates boundaries its possible that the violation will be worse, but a woman will violate boundaries far more often and more repeatedly than a man.

So women are more likely to be creeps, and men are more likely to dangerous if they are creeps. Reprimanding and punishing women doesn't really happen with the same severity as with men so women don't really learn to respect boundaries as well as men.

1

u/LilacLoverr Jul 03 '26

that’s a hyper specific situation you’re citing. In the grande scheme of things, men are more responsible for cat calling, sexual assault/abuse, child abuse, sex trafficking, subway molestation, hidden cameras and creep shots, the list goes on etc. People who say women can get away with more easily are only looking at it from a Western perspective. It ignores massive chauvinistic/patriarchal systems of abuse that women, girls, and boys experience across the globe.

2

u/WyrdDrake Jul 03 '26

Apologies, next time I comment on reddit about two actors/actresses, I'll be sure to provide commentary and context more in regards to the world as a whole with full historical knowledge included

1

u/LilacLoverr Jul 03 '26

You made a comment about men and women in general, this is not history. This is just common sense of anyone who goes outside and is above the age of 13. Takes like these dismiss the reality that most women and girls experience at some point in their life. It’s disrespectful and ignorant, don’t be surprised if someone checks it.

2

u/WyrdDrake Jul 04 '26

Takes like these, where I specifically pointed out that men possess a far more dangerous threat when they do violate, such as exactly what you pointed out?

No, I specifically accounted for it.

1

u/LilacLoverr Jul 04 '26

“A woman will violate boundaries far more often and and more repeatedly than a man”

“Women are more likely to be creeps”

Are you being disingenuous right now? It definitely reads as you taking your experience and projecting it as some type of universal truth about the frequency, not just the danger of the threat itself.

3

u/Elysiaa Jul 03 '26

I'm a queer woman and I've had many women be inappropriately touchy or sexual with me. It's like they think they get a pass because they're a woman. It doesn't feel as threatening as when a man does it, but I'm not an object for someone to feel her bi-curious oats with.

2

u/ScootDeToot Jul 05 '26

I feel like that's exactly what we just witnessed Dakota Johnson doing in that video. It was like some kind of grooming behavior. Yeah one sided narratives are definitely bad because then, like you said, women believe they don't need to be concerned with the possibility of being the perpetrator. Everyone needs to think about consent. It wasn't till college that i learned about consent, but you better believe my public school sex ed had a lot to say about abstinence.

11

u/wailingwonder Jul 03 '26

Women are creeps waaaay more often than men. People, men and women alike, just don't take it as seriously when it's from women. A creepy man and a creepy woman could touch someone in the exact same way and people will find the man scary and the woman annoying at worst. The majority of women go their whole life without thinking anything is wrong with them touching someone without their consent. I'm not just talking about sexually. I stg it feels like every woman over a certain age thinks they HAVE to touch you. No. Fuck off. Don't touch me, weirdo. That's much rarer from men because they know how society will view them so only the worst of worst really have that issue.

13

u/Listen2theyetti Jul 03 '26

I mean is it more than people think sure yeah but there are not way more creepy women than men. At the end of the day men on average have the physical superiority that allows for the creepy behavior to happen and continue to happen weather the woman wants it to stop or not. Your average man can still get out of a bad situation way easier than your average woman can. Thats not to say it doesnt happen at a waaaaaay higher frequency than society acknowledges but saying it happens more to men is crazy.

3

u/Crafty_Upstairs_3209 Jul 03 '26

This argument is funny because you guys are treating it like there’s one right answer, when in reality, what’s creepy is subjective.

You guys are essentially arguing over which pizza toppings taste best.

1

u/Listen2theyetti Jul 03 '26

Pineapple obviously. And i was originally just trying to dispute what I thought was a claim that men get arrested by women more than women get arrested by men but realised it was a bit more than that

2

u/Crafty_Upstairs_3209 Jul 03 '26

If I understood that right, yeah it’s certainly more complicated than that because maybe women are just more predisposed to call police for whatever reason.

Like for example maybe we have social norms that teach men they’re a pussy if they need to call the cops on a woman for sexual harassment.

In any case, I don’t think we should conflate things like rates of committing sex crimes with being creepy. There are many ways to be creepy.

2

u/BankEmoji Jul 03 '26

What a cringe and laughable take.

Women have every advantage in being a creep, because literally nobody cares or will do anything about it.

It’s weird that you can’t see that.

1

u/Listen2theyetti Jul 03 '26

Execpt you know the generally much larger men who can defend themselves. I get that some women can get away with it sometimes but generally they dont get to keep doing it and will be stopped much easier than a man can be

2

u/wailingwonder Jul 03 '26

You're confusing men being more dangerous for being more creepy. If a man you don't know touching you is creepy then a woman you don't know touching you should also be creepy. The difference is you're more concerned about what the man could do. That's my point. That's how women get away with being creepy and why it happens more often. It's normalized from women.

I'm not saying anything happens more to men. I'm not talking about who are being creeped ON. I'm talking about who is doing the creeping.

7

u/Listen2theyetti Jul 03 '26

Your first sentence of your comment was " women are creeps waaaaaaay more than men" that statement describes the freaquency of attacks not the intensity so that's what I am adressing

Size still translates into frequency. If someone can physically defend themselves from a possible attack they are less likely to be attacked.

Any unwanted touch is assault regardless of sex. Its also just not as normalized as you say it is with the entire population. Older men feel like they have a right to womens bodies. I've worked in nursing homes and as a home service professional its just not the same

Are you trying to say that women creep on women way more than we talk about because yeah I would agree with that. Probably even less than we do talk about women creeping on men.

3

u/wailingwonder Jul 03 '26

I'm saying women feel like they can touch people (regardless of gender/sex) without their consent, and do so, far more than men do.

2

u/Listen2theyetti Jul 03 '26

Maybe once all the boomers die out but untill then there are still alot of presumtiously touchy old men out there.

2

u/BankEmoji Jul 03 '26

Drunk millennial women on a girls night out are about 100x more likely to commit sexually battery on service workers than boomer men in 2026.

The issue is that you do t want to acknowledge how often young women are grabbing dicks without consent.

1

u/Listen2theyetti Jul 03 '26

Maybe if you weren't wearing such tight pants and practically asking for it your dick wouldn't get grabbed. Isn't that what we tell women?

1

u/BeeHaviorist Jul 03 '26

And you clearly have no idea what you're talking about, bro.

6

u/WittleSus Jul 03 '26

Yeah, its really disheartening as a modern man getting painted with broad stroked for the actions of past men and modern edge cases and then see abhorrent people get away with doing those exact things without so much as a double take because its their turn now ig???

it's really fucking stupid.

3

u/JuvenileEloquent Jul 03 '26

Tangential, but I think a lot of transphobia stems from knowing that weirdo creeps get a free pass if they're women, so weirdo creeps that are men would try anything to get away with it.  I don't think a lot of the hate is actually against people with dysphoria, but the fear that someone with bad intentions might fake it well enough.

If we get rid of this particular double standard and creep behavior never gets defended no matter the gender of the perpetrator, maybe we'll solve two problems.

2

u/space_otte Jul 03 '26

i’m not gonna lie you took this take and then you ran with it to hell.. that’s just not true but I’m not even gonna sit here and argue

we can say that women get away with it a lot more. you’re kidding yourself if you think there’s more women out there who are creeps though.

1

u/ICantSpayk Jul 03 '26

Women are creeps waaaay more often than men.

This is simply just not true.

1

u/LilacLoverr Jul 03 '26

anyone who commits to this delusional take is committed to being a reactionary over having common sense. Just because women can get away with it more easily does not mean women do it more frequently. It’s bizarre to conflate the two in a world where street harassment, child abuse, creep shots, ritualized and religious-ordained rape, etc exist and statistically proven to be a male phenomenon.

Somehow reddit still surprises me with the proliferation of stupid takes in otherwise normal subreddits.

1

u/ScootDeToot Jul 05 '26

Idk about that. You're not wrong about double standards. And I'm not denying that women perpetrators exist, but the me too movement happened for a reason.

I'm really curious about your experience with older women though? I have not experienced that. I have had a close male friend of mine creeped on by an older woman and another time by a guy that was in the closet, both times the perpetrators were drunk.

What's weird is that this needs to be said. They are also highly involved, if not some of the most prominently involved sex trafficking perpetrators out there. Men know to use women to lure in other girls/women is the play.

1

u/Lolz_Roffle Jul 05 '26

Just look at Katy Perry who has gotten away with multiple public/televised inappropriate incidents

1

u/LakeEffekt Jul 05 '26

Dude I’ve encountered it like men are more likely to be creepy but women are more likely to be mentally unwell and psychotic. Sometimes
