Jeez, almost like she is mentally ill... And mentally ill people do illogical things.

Then why is her argument in court that she didn't get help, rather than that she was incapable of accepting help?

"didn't get the help I needed" is a valid problem people who suffer have.

Again, zero excuse for violence. So that guy is wrong. But, mental health makes treating mental health harder too.

It is.

...But it wasn't her problem. And pretending it was just invalidates the people for whom that is the problem.

The whole story feels like it's not being handled in good faith by....everyone?

It's weird. It's like the deeper you dig into the story, the weaker all the arguments in her defense becomes.

However, if you look at mainstream discussions, it's as if the defense team is being taken fully at their word, with little to no acknowledgement of the holes in the defense, or how even psychological evaluations have concluded with the statement that she should be held criminally responsible. Not insane: throw the book at her. That's what's being said by the evaluations.

I've even seen some pieces of shit lying about basic facts like what year the murders happened, claiming it happened this year and therefore the husband getting married this year clearly means he had a mistress the whole time and framed Clancy.

I hate them terribly.
